Last Tuesday marked a significant milestone with the topping-out ceremony of the Eastern Shawnee Tribal Government Building in Wyandotte, OK! This state-of-the-art, custom-designed building will serve as the new tribal headquarters, providing office space for the Business Committee members and their key support staff.   As the Owner's Representative for this endeavor, it has been an honor to oversee this project, working alongside the talented teams at BRP Architects and C.R. Crawford Construction. We are delighted to introduce Ryan Rebsamen, our new Sr. Project Manager, who brings an impressive 24 years of construction industry experience. His journey has been marked by significant achievements, from his role as Director of Pre-Construction to his leadership of a commercial construction division in Oklahoma City. Ryan has successfully overseen more than 25 high-profile mixed-use residential projects in cities like Austin, Denver, Dallas, and Seattle. His portfolio extends beyond residential projects, encompassing diverse ventures such as the American Heartland theme park and RV resort pre-construction, The Gathering Place in Tulsa, the Osage Tulsa Casino and Hotel, renovation of Southern Hills Country Club, and over 30 projects in the K-12 market, among many others. His wealth of experience and proven leadership skills underscore his exceptional versatility and ability to guide large teams effectively. Ryan, a Tulsa native and University of Oklahoma graduate, has an impressive local background, having worked on construction projects at the church and schools he attended. We are thrilled to have him join the Connect Team, where he will leverage his extensive experience and longstanding industry relationships to provide top-notch service and deliver exceptional results to our clients. Wednesday marked a major milestone for the Absentee Shawnee Tribal Health System with the grand opening of the newly expanded and renovated Little Axe Health Center! The project involved expanding and upgrading the existing 76,000-square-foot facility to meet the growing healthcare needs of the tribal members as well as the surrounding community. We worked closely with the Absentee Shawnee Tribal Health Authority, Inc. Board of Directors in coordination with Executive Director Chris Larkin and his team to enhance key areas such as an expanded pharmacy, behavioral health, dental, laboratory, and public health. The health center now incorporates newly remodeled clinic spaces for primary care, specialty care, and after-hours needs in plus care. This project showcases ASTHS's unwavering dedication to providing exceptional healthcare services to the Little Axe community.
