The Washington Indian Gaming Association (WIGA) is a non-profit Indian gaming trade association representing federally recognized tribes in the state of Washington committed to advancing the lives of Indian peoples — economically, socially, and politically. What we do: Educate: As a trade organization, WIGA’s purpose is to educate and disseminate information to the Indian gaming community, federal and state governments, and the general public on issues related to gaming in Indian Country. Advocate: WIGA is there to advocate on behalf of the Washington’s Indian gaming community to promote government relations and effective communication between tribes and the state of Washington. Promote Policy: WIGA aims to promote, protect, and preserve the general welfare and interests of Indian tribes through the development of sound policies and practices with respect to the conduct of gaming activities in Indian Country.

Save the date! The second annual Washington Indian Gaming Association (WIGA) Scholarship Program Gala & Auction will take place on November 18, 2023 at ilani. Proceeds from the event go to the WIGA Scholarship Program. Since 2006, the Scholarship Program has awarded more than $1 million to Native American and Alaska Native students pursuing bachelor’s and graduate college or university degrees, as well as degrees from community and technical colleges. These awards promote tribal self-sufficiency by advancing student potential and broadening higher education opportunities.
