The Washington Indian Gaming Association (WIGA) is a non-profit Indian gaming trade association representing federally recognized tribes in the state of Washington committed to advancing the lives of Indian peoples — economically, socially, and politically. What we do: Educate: As a trade organization, WIGA’s purpose is to educate and disseminate information to the Indian gaming community, federal and state governments, and the general public on issues related to gaming in Indian Country. Advocate: WIGA is there to advocate on behalf of the Washington’s Indian gaming community to promote government relations and effective communication between tribes and the state of Washington. Promote Policy: WIGA aims to promote, protect, and preserve the general welfare and interests of Indian tribes through the development of sound policies and practices with respect to the conduct of gaming activities in Indian Country.
