So honored to work alongside Tamika Auguste MD FACOG and the amazing caregivers at MedStar Washington Hospital Center as they improve birth equity and the lives of the underserved in DC!
MedStar Washington Hospital Center has earned national recognition for our work to address and improve birth equity in Washington, D.C.’s underserved neighborhoods, specifically in Wards 7 and 8, where infant mortality rates are twice the city's average. America's Essential Hospitals awarded the 2024 Gage Award for Population Health to our Women’s and Infants’ Services team for their initiatives to increase access to prenatal and postpartum care and early interventions for adverse social determinants of health, and decrease the number of patients experiencing birthing complications. As a result of these interventions, we have seen a clear increase in patients accessing multiple healthcare services, which led to improved health outcomes. We’re so proud of our team committed to making positive, sustainable change in maternal and infant health outcomes. Learn more. http://ms.spr.ly/6046YAeWp

Love the commitment to mothers, children, and families from Babyscripts CCO Andrew Reeve 💕
For those of you that know me beyond a casual LinkedIn connection, you likely know that my faith and my family are the two biggest driving forces in my life. I joined Babyscripts for the opportunity to help more moms have healthy pregnancies in support of starting and growing families. Recently, I was blessed with the opportunity to join the Board of Directors at Perfecting Peds, who help children with complex medical conditions manage their medications across the fragmented care continuum. It is an honor to be working with two companies so focused on helping families. I invite you to take a moment and watch this video on Perfecting Peds and their incredible work and mission.

Digital health works for Medicaid. But simply repurposing tech used for upper or middle income patients isn't enough for success. 🌟 Excited to announce a new white paper for Medicaid stakeholders! 🎉Babyscripts is celebrating 10 years with a resource for investors, policy makers, care providers, and health plans who are interested in delivering digital health to the Medicaid population. We created this resource to address questions around health equity and the feasibility of using RPM and tech-enabled solutions for under-resourced populations. It includes: ➡️A comprehensive overview of the landscape ➡️Available tools and innovative approaches for improving outcomes ➡️Guidance for increasing access and engagement in underserved populations ➡️Breakdown of current reimbursement practices for Medicaid-focused solutions. Our decade in the space has taught us a lot about innovation, including the most important: collaboration and data sharing are critical to changing the status quo. We've built this resource on our original research, but also from the work of hundreds of researchers and advocates who are invested in improving the lives and health of mothers and babies. The guide does not rely on the use of Babyscripts. It's our way of giving back to a community of stakeholders that are all focused on the same goal: ensuring that every mother giving birth in the United States can do so in safety and confidence. Anish Sebastian and Andrew Reeve tackling maternal mortality in the sunshine state last week 🌞 🍊 Hypertension is now the #1 of cause of maternal mortality in FL, acc. to most recent statistics. We know that data-driven tools like RPM for blood pressure management are critical to moving the needle on outcomes, but it takes collaboration and stakeholder buy-in to get those tools into the hands of patients & physicians. The Babyscripts teamed joined other stakeholders at the Florida Hospital Association Annual Quality meeting to address the issues facing pregnant patients in Florida and across the US, and showcase the value of the collaboration and innovation for better maternity care.
