#Endometriosis is a disease which, according to the World Health Organization, affects about 10% of the world's population. In Poland, about 3 million women suffer from it, and in every third of them, it causes serious difficulties with getting pregnant. Due to non-specific symptoms, such as intense pain during menstruation, constant pain in the sacral area or pain during intercourse, urination or stool, endometriosis has so far been difficult to diagnose. For many patients, this meant years of suffering - on average, the diagnosis lasted from several to even over a dozen years - and in many cases, it ruled out the chance of becoming pregnant. However, we have some wonderful news. Currently, thanks to minimally invasive and safe tests developed by Diagendo, a maximum of several days is enough to confirm or exclude the disease, and then start treatment! What’s more, we are very happy to inform you that from August 28 this year, the innovative EndoRNA qRT-PCR test can be performed in selected Medicover medical centres in Warsaw. In the coming weeks, residents of other cities in Poland will also have this opportunity. Medicover medical centres are another, after the Medicover Hospital in Warsaw's Wilanów and InviMed infertility treatment clinics, where Medicover offers the possibility of performing an endometriosis test. In a world where timely diagnosis has long been a challenge, this achievement is an important step towards easing the burden of endometriosis and bringing hope to those affected. Caring for your health is all we do. #endometriosistests #diagnosis #endometriosistreatment
