Renee Richardson is managing editor at the Brainerd Dispatch. She joined the Brainerd Dispatch in 1996 after earning her bachelor's degree in mass communications in journalism studies at St. Cloud State University.
She writes about business, technology, government, trends and growth. She earned an associate's degree in animal science at the University of Minnesota, Waseca, with an emphasis on horses. She worked in the resort industry in northern Minnesota for years in a number of roles including reservations and office management. She earned an associate in art's degree at what is now Central Lakes College before transferring to SCSU. She reads, writes, kayaks, dabbles at painting, is a terrible tennis player, goes to movies and generally watches a lot of Marvel.
