Larry Wayne Loberg, age 77, of Brainerd passed away on July 20, 2024, at Cuyuna Medical Center in Crosby. Larry was born in Brainerd on May 2, 1947, to Melvin & Ida (Gorman) Loberg.
Alyce Jeannine Falconer Gibson was born in Brainerd, MN on December 24, 1928, to Archie and Pearl Falconer.
Roger L. Carver, 76 passed away peacefully on February 10, 2024, in Tacoma, WA. Born on March 7, 1947, in Park Rapids, MN
June Moldstad was called to her eternal home on July 19, 2024. She was born Edith June Barber in Bedford, England on June 2, 1938 to Violet and Stanley Barber. She was baptized into the Christian faith as a child. After her parents divorced and during WWII, her mother fell in love with an American soldier named George Howard. On July 8, 1947, Edith and her mother came to the United States through Ellis Island on the ship Britannia to join George in Muskegon, MI. In 1956, at the age of 18, Edith became a United States citizen and changed her name to June Edith Howard. She married Bruce Bestervelt on March 23, 1958. This union was blessed with two daughters, Jo and Terri. The family lived in Michigan, California, Texas, Minnesota and Florida. June worked as an Administrative Assistant at many places during her lifetime. She was widowed in March, 1982 and six years later married Rev John Moldstad on January 1, 1988. They lived in Florida and Minnesota. June found herself widowed again in December, 2022.

Beloved father and friend, passed away on July 16, 2024, just one day after celebrating his 83rd birthday. Born on July 15, 1941, in Brainerd Minnesota, to Floyd and Hazel Griffith (Tidrick), Floyd lived a life rich with experiences and cherished moments.

Goldie Chambers Hazuka passed away peacefully April 25th, 2024 at 3AM at Bethany Good Samaritan, Brainerd. She was born on 9/15/1927. She is survived by Dean and Heidi Hazuka, Montana and Linda Regelin, California, 4 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. Her body was donated for Science at the U of M. A celebration of life is planned at the Brenny Family Funeral Chapel in Baxter on July 28th, 2024 from 1:00PM-3:00PM.
Diane Carolyn (Johnson) Eitrheim received her invitation to the Heavenly Homecoming Party on Sunday, June 16, 2024. Diane was born in Hamburg, Iowa, on April 21, 1935, Easter Sunday, to parents Walt and Nola (Eleanora) Johnson. Diane was a star basketball player in high school as well as a beauty queen, winning the coveted title of Queen of the Popcorn Festival. In 1955, she was the runner-up for Miss SW Iowa. Diane went to Augustana College in Sioux Falls, SD, graduating with a degree in Music Education. In 1958, she married her college sweetheart Jim Eitrheim. They moved to Oak Park, Illinois in 1959 where they lived for 31 years.

Barbara Jean Meyer, 91, of Pequot Lakes, passed away on July 15, 2024. Funeral services will be held at 11:00am on Monday, July 22nd at Our Savior’s Lutheran Church in Pequot Lakes. Visitation will be one hour prior to services.
Brodeur, Michael Raymond, age 69, of Brainerd passed away July 11, 2024 from a short battle of cancer, surrounded by loved ones. Mike was born on December 11, 1954 in Drayton, North Dakota to Raymond and Theresa Brodeur. He grew up in south Minneapolis, the youngest of five. He attended St. Helena’s, Roosevelt High and Votech for machining. He was the owner of Fawn Like Tool, Staples, MN. Mike was retired from Pequot Tool, Jenkins, MN. Mike enjoyed traveling, fishing, hunting, cooking, baking, woodworking and was the best captain of the pontoon. Family was very important to him, always putting others before himself, lending a helping hand, he had a huge heart.
Regina “Gina” A. Meixner, age 81, of Pequot Lakes passed away Saturday, July 13, 2024 at St. Joseph’s Medical Center in Brainerd, surrounded by her family. Gina donated her body to the Mayo Clinic for research and education. A memorial mass will be held at 2:30PM on Friday, July 19, 2024 at St. Alice Catholic Church in Pequot Lakes. Visitation will be from 2PM until the start of mass on Friday at the church. Family and friends are invited to stay for a time of fellowship following mass. Dorothy (Hoplin) Weiss, almost 97 years old, of Brainerd passed away, surrounded by her family at her daughter’s home in Brainerd on Friday, July 12, 2024. Dorothy was born on July 17, 1927, in Walden Township to Nils & Alice (Glover) Hoplin.
Gail Jean Massie (Kelling), aged 60, passed away on July 10, 2024, in Sauk Rapids, Minnesota after a long battle with Brain Cancer. Born on June 29, 1964, in Aitkin Minnesota. Gail leaves behind a legacy of warmth, kindness and dedication evident to all who knew her. Gail had a love for hosting family gatherings, being a mom and grandma was dear to her heart. She had a special love of scrap booking and making cards, those near and dear to her will miss her very much.
