Rahul indulging in selective tragedy tourism, says BJP

BJP on Monday accused Rahul Gandhi of indulging in "selective tragedy tourism", recalling how he had skipped visiting Manipur after ethnic violence when his party was governing the state.
"Why did Rahul Gandhi not visit Churachandpur in 2015-17 to meet victims of violence that raged following Congress CM Okram Ibobi Singh govt's decision to pass three bills that were seen by many as 'anti-tribal' and a 'conspiracy' by the majority community to grab tribal land," asked BJP IT department chief Amit Malviya.He said Rahul's visit was a photo-op and nothing more as he abandoned a press conference and refused to answer difficult questions.
