NEW DELHI: Dushyant Singh of the Bharatiya Janata Party emerged victorious, securing 8,65,376 votes, which is 3,70,989 more than the runner-up. Urmila Jain "Bhaya" from the Indian National Congress came in second place with 4,94,387 votes, trailing the winner by 3,70,989 votes.
Chandra Singh Kirad of the Bahujan Samaj Party secured 12,285 votes, falling short of the winner by 8,53,091 votes.
Independent candidate Ravi Raj Singh obtained 10,274 votes, which is 8,55,102 votes less than the winner. Bhuvanesh Kumar from the Right to Recall Party received 9,345 votes, 8,56,031 votes behind the winner.
Independent candidates Babulal and Pankaj Pajantorivala secured 7,692 and 5,945 votes, respectively, trailing the winner by 8,57,684 and 8,59,431 votes.
The "None of the Above" (NOTA) option received 16,027 votes, which is 8,49,349 votes less than the winner.
The Jhalawar-Baran Lok Sabha constituency, a prominent political region in Rajasthan, is known for being the stronghold of former Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje. The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has historically dominated this constituency, securing victory in eight out of 16 Lok Sabha elections up to 2014 and maintaining control since 1989.
