Pune: Amitabh Gupta, the additional director-general (ADG) of the state prisons department, Pune, was transferred to the special cell, Mumbai, while ADG Sunil Ramanand from the state wireless department, Pune, was transferred to the planning and co-ordination wing, Mumbai on Monday.
The state home department joint secretary, Venkatesh Bhat, issued a notification announcing transfer of 10 IPS officers.
Ranjan Kumar Sharma, special inspector-general of police in the state criminal investigation department, Pune, was transferred to Pune police as the joint commissioner.
ADG Pravin Salunkhe from special cell, Mumbai, was transferred as the state railway police commissioner, Mumbai. Suresh Mekla, controller of weights and measures, Mumbai, was shifted as ADG to the state traffic police, Mumbai, and ADG Deepak Pandey, prevention of women and children atrocities, Mumbai, was transferred to the wireless department, Pune.
Special IG Subhash Warke from the state law and order wing, Mumbai, was transferred to the prevention of women and children atrocities wing, Mumbai. Ashwati Dorje, joint chief of the Nagpur police, was transferred as the Special IG of the state human rights commission, Mumbai, while Chering Dorje from the Nagpur police range was transferred as the Special IG, law and order, Mumbai. Special IG D K Bhujbal from the state criminal investigation department, Pune, was transferred to the Nagpur police range.
