A fatal collision between a car and an auto-rickshaw in Begusarai, Bihar resulted in 5 deaths and 3 injuries. The incident is currently under investigation by local authorities.

BEGUSARAI: At least five people were killed and three others sustained injuries after a car and an auto-rickshaw collided head-on near Ratan Chowk in Bihar's Begusarai district on Tuesday, police said.
The accident, took place within the jurisdiction of the FCI Police Station.
The police statement revealed that the three injured persons were transported to a nearby health facility for medical attention.

However, the identities of the five deceased victims have not yet been determined.
"Bodies are being sent for the post-mortem examination and the matter is being investigated," a statement issued by the Begusarai police said.
According to locals, the auto-rickshaw was traveling from Hathidah junction towards Begusarai when the accident occurred.
