Mumbai rain disrupts city’s air, rail traffic
Nagpur: Heavy rain in Mumbai affected the flight and rail traffic in Nagpur on Tuesday. At Nagpur airport, five flights were delayed while one was cancelled. Flights of both Indigo and Air India were delayed by a few hours. Indigo Airlines cancelled one of the evening flights supposed to reach Nagpur by 9.15pm.
Similarly, many trains were running behind schedule as tracks were submerged under water.
On Sunday, Mumbai-bound trains were short-terminated at Nashik causing panic among passengers. On Monday, some trains departing from Mumbai were rescheduled. The Vidarbha Express was rescheduled by one hour. The LTT-Shalimar Express was also rescheduled by three hours. tnn
