‘19% salary hike for staff at 3 power utilities’
Mumbai: Deputy chief minister and energy minister Devendra Fadnavis announced on Sunday that there will be a 19% increase in the basic salary and a 25% increase in all allowances for the officers and employees of Maharashtra State Power Generation Company Ltd, Maharashtra State Electricity Distribution Company Ltd, and Maharashtra State Electricity Transmission Company Ltd, which operate under the energy department.

He was speaking at a meeting held at Sahyadri Guest House regarding the salary revision for the officers and employees of these electricity companies. It is learnt that Rs 5,000 increment has been sanctioned for assistants during the probation period, and allowance for technical staff has been increased from Rs 500 to Rs 1,000, an official added. tnn
