NEW DELHI: Four people had a narrow escape on Monday evening when the car they were travelling in was washed away in a flooded road near Kannarpadi-Kadekar in Karnataka's Udupi district, TV reports suggested.
The people travelling in the car managed to come out of the vehicle on time.
No injuries were reported in the incident.
Rescue teams and locals quickly managed to pull the car from a flooded paddy field.
The car had swerved off the road before drifting into the water.
