Opposition leader's vehicle meets with accident in Kasaragod, none hurt

KOZHIKODE: The vehicle of opposition leader V D Satheeshan met with a minor accident near Kanhangad on Saturday evening. In a Facebook post, Satheeshan said that that no one was injured and he was safe.
The accident occurred Bekal Pallikkara near Kanhangad while he was travelling from Kannur to Kasaragod, on his way to Mookambika Temple, Kollur. The accident happened when the cars in front of the police pilot vehicle stopped suddenly to avoid hitting a vehicle that had just exited a nearby petrol pump.The pilot vehicle collided with the car ahead and the vehicle the opposition leader was travelling in hit the back of the pilot vehicle. He later continued his journey to Mookambika Temple in another vehicle.
