Sawant to give school students career advice

Panaji: Chief ministerPramod Sawant will address school students on July 6 through a webinar, with special focus on career guidance.
Director of education Shailesh Zingade said that the Sawant will address students of Classes VIII, IX and X of aided and unaided schools across Goa, at 10.30am. He said that this is part of the Swayampurna Goa Programme initiative.
Zingade said that after the chief minister’s address to the students, resource persons will guide students in identifying their career goals and thereafter, SP crime branch Rahul Gupta will interact with students where he will explain to them the positive and negative aspect of social media.
“We will also share Youtube links of our programme so that it reaches everybody. This webinar will be helpful for parents, teachers and students,” he said.
