Jalandhar/Ludhiana: Punjab Pradesh Congress Committee (PPCC) president Amrinder Singh Raja Warring led a roadshow in Jalandhar West constituency in support of party candidate Surinder Kaur. “The people of Punjab have already shown the door to the turncoats in the Lok Sabha elections, and a similar mandate is set to happen soon in Jalandhar West,” he said while addressing the roadshow.
Other senior Congress leaders were also present in the roadshow.
Later, in Ludhiana, Warring said AAP govt had withdrawn from Prime Minister's Schools for Rising India (PM-SHRI) project. He said this decision was leading to a loss of Rs 515 crore in central funding. Warring remarked, "It is sad that the AAP government continues to work against the interests of Punjab just for their own personal gains. Withdrawing from PM-SHRI all because the AAP govt wants to continue with its School of Eminence project, is nonsensical.” tnn
