Will ensure cleanliness in Gurugram, says Hry CS
Chandigarh: As the rainy season sets in, Haryana chief secretary T V S N Prasad on Sunday said the state govt was committed to ensure cleanliness and strong drainage system in Gurugram.
He also said the number of sanitation vehicles in Gurugram city would be increased for door-to-door garbage collection.
Holding a meeting with eminent citizens of Gurugram, Prasad also directed for the formation of a three-member committee that would set standards for door-to-door garbage collection for sanitation vehicles.

The Gurugram municipal corporation will issue a public advertisement mentioning that any agency, residents’ welfare association (RWA), institution, or any individual that provides a vehicle of prescribed capacity along with a driver to the CM for door-to-door garbage collection would be paid on a monthly basis as per the rate fixed by the committee.
