Justice Nagu now CJ of Pb HC; Justice Sachdeva is acting CJ of MP HC

Bhopal/Jabalpur: Acting Chief Justice of MP high court, Justice Sheel Nagu, has been appointed Chief Justice of Punjab & Haryana HC. Justice Sanjeev Sachdeva, the most senior judge in MP high court following Justice Nagu, will take charge as acting CJ of MP high court. Justice Sachdeva was transferred to MP HC from Delhi recently. Justice Nagu was appointed acting CJ of MP HC following superannuation of Chief Justice Ravi Malimath.

His name had by then been recommended for Chief Justice of Punjab & Haryana HC by the Supreme Court collegium. After receiving the President’s consent, an order to appoint him to the post was issued on Thursday. TNN
