Bhopal: Three persons including a woman were killed after their car rammed a container truck in Rajgarh district on Monday morning. The incident took place at around near Saredi village under Pachor police station of the district.
Deceased have been identified as Hamji Khan, 35, Ramila, 30, and Bhagwan Pawar, 32, all residents of Solapur in
Maharashtra who had gone to Uttar Pradesh for some personal work.
The accident took place while they were returning, said police.
Pachor police station in-charge, Akanksha Sharma said, “The accident took place at around 8.30 am on the national highway near Saredi village. Five people were travelling in the car and besides the deceased, two others have sustained severe injuries and are undergoing treatment.”
Sources said that the deceased were returning home. The front portion of the car was completely damaged by the impact. Police teams rushed to the spot and the trapped injured had to be taken out after cutting the vehicle, added sources.
