TET exam rescheduled, to be held from Oct 3
Amaravati: The Andhra Pradesh govt on Monday issued orders revising the schedule of Teacher Eligibility Test (TET). The examination that was supposed to be held from August 5 to 20, has been rescheduled between October 3 and 20, this year.
Govt has restarted the TET to fill 16,347 teaching positions and released a notification regarding the same on July 2, 2024.
Thousands of candidates requested govt to postpone the schedule. Responding to their requests, govt issued a revised notification on Monday, incorporating several significant changes to the TET schedule.
This adjustment is seen as a move to provide ample time for candidates to prepare for both the TET and DSC exams.
Candidates should note that TET scores will contribute 20 percent weightage in the DSC recruitment process, making it an essential component of the overall selection procedure.
