Govt to recruit 11,961 employees this year

Gandhinagar: Gujarat govt has drawn up a schedule to recruit 11,961 candidates in various departments this financial year. Govt sources said that the process to fill these vacancies has already been initiated.
Additionally, results of departmental examinations for appointment of 436 state tax inspectors, 10 horticulture officers and 10 junior scientific assistants in the Gujarat Engineering Research Institute will be announced in the coming weeks, the sources said.
Sources said that according to the ten-year recruitment calendar prepared earlier, the exam schedule for vacancies that are to be filled in 2024-25 will be announced in a phased manner.
Earlier this month, the state announced a detailed schedule for appointment of teachers in govt and grant-in-aid schools at primary, secondary and higher secondary levels.
