A chance to experiment, try, and get creative. All the things we love for getting to new ways of being (in work) with some amazing facilitators. SO excited for Re-Work community member Dee de Lara’s beautiful series.

Excited to share F*CK AROUND TO FIND OUT, a collaborative workshop series of collective creation and experimentation and a space to say things aloud and witness each other as we try things out, play around, move through messing up and expand our capacity to f*ck up, so we can get curious to find out in community Each workshop will be co-facilitated by me The Liminal Movement and a different collaborator with a different focus. We aim to collectively create across multiple mediums, including conversation, movement, sound, flowers, etc to stay present, explore sensations and capture a moment The series runs for 5 months from July to November. We strongly suggest attending all 5, but you’re welcome to come to one or more JULY 18 | IYKYK: PLAYING WITH INTUITION with Natalie Matias AUGUST 22 | THE FELT SENSE OF FINDING OUT with McKenzie Taylor SEPTEMBER 19 | S4S: SPACE FOR SELF with Bea Palanca OCTOBER 24 | ART TBD with Jessica NOVEMBER 21 | FLOWERS TBD with Mimosa Haque 7-10pm Of Sorts Studio, 1110 Dupont Street, Toronto $65 for ONE workshop | $120 for TWO workshops | $175 for THREE workshops | $225 for FOUR workshops | $275 for ALL FIVE workshops No one will be turned away due to lack of funds! We’ve had time to rest and reflect after the transformative experience of our New Visions workshop on Saturday. We built it to be actionable, we built it wanting to empower people to make change. But the clarity and confidence and new perspective that also came for so many was real. There were tears, laughter, and joy in that room. Because we spend so much of our lives working, it is an emotional thing (despite what LinkedIn and some bosses would have you believe). And we got emotional as we took steps to untangle our identity from what we do and instead focus on the hard work of imagining what work could look and feel like if it was infused with meaning and well-being. If we looked at our problems, turned to community, and envisioned something better for ourselves. It was pure, human magic ✨ We WILL do this again and we want you there. IF you’re ready to truly re-imagine what work can be and need help making the shift. The foundational belief of Re-Work is that work doesn’t have to suck. This workshop really showed what’s possible when you believe that and work together toward something different and better. We were so lucky to have storytellers and collaborators and amazing community to bring it all together. #rework #community #workshop #futureofwork

As Jodi says, it is SO important to reflect and engage with where you are in your career and where you're going. This weekend we got to spend some time with folks ready to do the work of Re-Imagining and bringing new visions to their careers. Thank you Jodi for being an amazing participant and collaborator with all the folks who joined ✨

As a wellness professional it’s especially important for me to reflect on my career journey and if what I am doing is working for me. This weekend I had the pleasure of attending the New Visions workshop by Re-Work which is about crafting the career of your dreams while integrating wellbeing in a sustainable way. Some reflection questions I found insightful were: 1. What is the problem I am currently facing in my career? 2. What feels wrong for me and what feels right for me? 3. What are my fears telling me? 4. What does work mean for me right now? 5. What “shoulds” are showing up for me right now that are preventing me from going after what I want? Are you reflecting on your career journey regularly? Let me know in the comments. Thank you Natasha Singh & Chantaie Allick for putting on this event. It was amazing! #burnout #careerdevelopment #careerjourney

This is the one you shouldn't miss out on attending!! When I look back at the learnings and materials from last November's Re-Work "The New Ways Of Being" workshop, it was a VERY instrumental experience that greatly shaped my highly-fulfilled 2024 path forward after a VERY bumpy 2022/23. What do you want to be when you grow up? Now that we look at it, it’s sort of a wild thing to ask someone whose brain is still developing. But it can be sort of exciting for someone who’s lived and worked a bit and knows what’s out there. It was the starting point for how we developed New Visions. The next step in the Re-Work is in-person experience. Whether you’ve been to every experience or have had good intentions but haven’t made it out, this is the one not to miss. We’ve developed a full-day experience that helps you explore New Visions for what work can look like for you. Join us and take guided, practical steps to re-imagining work. Whether you just want more well-being in your current role or are looking to explore this day is for you. Join us. Learn more here: https://lnkd.in/gWQKaVpm
