Work is an essential part of our lives. We spend a significant portion of our time at work, and it shapes our identity, influences our lifestyles, and impacts our overall well-being. However, work is about more than just earning money or achieving success. It's about finding meaning and purpose in what you do. Whether you're a CEO or a janitor, every job has dignity and importance. Every role, no matter how small, contributes to the success of a larger organization. Remember that work is ministry. It's an opportunity to contribute to society and make a difference. When you find meaning and purpose in your work, you have a higher level of job satisfaction, and you're more likely to stay motivated and engaged. But it's also essential to remember to have fun along the way. Enjoy your work and find joy in the small things. Life is too short to be unhappy at work. When you love what you do, it doesn't feel like work at all. Celebrate the wins, learn from the losses, and cherish the moments that make your work meaningful. Always remember, work is more than just a way to earn a living. It's an opportunity to find meaning and purpose, to contribute to society, and to make a difference. Have some fun today. #FindMeaning #WorkIsMinistry #Contribute #FindJoyInSmallThings

Here's the secret to unlocking a fulfilling life: 70% of people aligning work with personal values feel purpose in their roles. (Source: Deloitte) We often chase external rewards and recognition. But it's the goals close to our hearts - That truly move the needle in our happiness. Albert Schweitzer once said: "Success is not the key to happiness. Happiness is the key to success. If you love what you are doing, you will be successful." Here's how we can tap into the power of intrinsic goals for a transformative impact: 📶 Connection: Nurture relationships that matter. Encourage team building and mentorship programs. ✔️ Fulfillment: Match roles with passions. Invest in personal development and career pathing. 🧘 Well-being: Promote holistic health. Introduce wellness programs and flexible schedules. 💰 Security: Financial wellness is key. Provide financial planning resources and support. ❤️ Inner Peace: Cultivate a culture of mindfulness. Offer quiet spaces and mindfulness training. 😄 Joy: Encourage fun at work. Celebrate small wins and incorporate play at work. By focusing on these intrinsic goals - We can create an environment where employees don't just survive. They thrive. _________________________ The great news is that all this can be taught. That's what I help companies with every day. Message me to learn more! Please repost to help your network! ♻️

What is the most meaningful work? The most meaningful work is “something to live for”. Work that has a cause that is meaningful to you and those who enjoy your work. Check out this interesting read on Meaningful Work. In a nutshell, meaningful work incorporates: 1. A sense of worth 2. A sense of care 3. A sense of safety Creating a practiced awareness of awareness can help us tap into our emotions at work, creating more meaning. https://lnkd.in/gFBcVG9s

Grow your Network and your Business with #NBG! A community of professionals and entrepreneurs / Speaker and Thought Leader Strategist
Work is an important part of our journey, but it should never be the sole source of our satisfaction. Our lives are made up of vibrant colors, diverse experiences, and cherished moments that extend beyond the confines of our professional pursuits.💪🌟💫 To feel a deep sense of satisfaction in our work, we must nurture our personal relationships, prioritize self-care, pursue passions, and create a harmonious balance between our career and personal life. It's about finding joy in simple pleasures, connecting with loved ones, and making time for the things that truly matter. When we cultivate a fulfilling life outside of work, our professional endeavors become even more purposeful and rewarding.✨🌟🌻 Remember, life is a tapestry of experiences, and true satisfaction comes from weaving together a vibrant and balanced existence. Let's strive to create a life that encompasses both personal and professional fulfillment, celebrating each aspect as integral to our overall well-being. #SatisfactionInLifeAndWork #EmbraceTheJourney #NBG #networkbuildgrow #rodgerandmelissa

🧠 “Life shrinks or expands in proportion to one's courage” - Anais Nin ➖ 𝗟𝗶𝗳𝗲 𝗦𝗵𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗸𝘀 when we choose to play it safe and remain within our comfort zones. We create boundaries and limit our personal/ professional growth. We stick to “what we should do”. ➕ 𝗟𝗶𝗳𝗲 𝗘𝘅𝗽𝗮𝗻𝗱𝘀 when we are ambitious and embrace change. We dream big, set goals and make things happen. Life is more fun and vibrant when we say YES to new opportunities and experiences. In the #workspace, to me this means: 💡 Taking my career path into my own hands. No one else can navigate it for us; we must be our own advocates. 💡 Finding joy in everyday work. While not every task may be thrilling, I believe we should enjoy our time at work. Living only for the weekends shouldn't be the norm. 💡 Being proactive. Asking questions. Connecting across departments. Saying yes to exciting opportunities. I'm curious - What does it mean to you? #MondayInspiration #PersonalDevelopment #CareerPath #CareerGrowth

For some people, work is their reason for being, and finding meaning at work is not hard. For most of us, however, that is simply not the case. To the majority, work is a means to an end – a way to keep food on the table and a roof over our heads. It can sometimes be hard to last the many hours the workplace eats out of our lives. The problem is that not being satisfied at work has a way of leaking into the rest of our lives. For example, it might poison relations with loved ones, making it hard for us to enjoy those bits of time away from the grindstone. If you're struggling to feel like your time at work matters, it's just a matter of finding, creating, or introducing meaning into your work. Here are five fantastic ways for you to do just that. 1. Find what gives you meaning at work and bring that it 2. Work towards your strengths 3. Make friends at work 4. Be more creative 5. See things more holistically Learn more about how to apply these tips to your work and life here: https://buff.ly/459l6AE #everydaypower #careeradvice #meaningfulwork

✨ Living the dream! ✨ I’m currently in London, living my dream of working flexibly from anywhere in the world so that I can spend more time with family and friends. I didn’t know any organisation that allowed this – at least to the extent I wanted it – so I started my own company. And as you know, the CEO is a brilliant, forward-thinking visionary who sees no issues with this. Is it possible to be on the opposite side of the world and still work effectively? Well so far, I’ve completed design work for a project, I’ve collaborated on a tender response, I’ve been doing client meetings – both virtual ones with Australia-based clients as well as in-person meetings in London – and my coaching clients have their appointments just like they would if I was in Australia. What about the downsides? There are days when I work till past midnight due to time difference and get up early to conduct meetings. There is a bit more flexibility required from clients so that they don’t need to meet the 3am version of Sanna. I’m very grateful for that as I’m sure they are too. And for me it’s just a bit more juggling of schedules, tasks, time zones and people. But everything gets done. I hope more organisations will allow this in the future. I appreciate that a major time difference can be an inconvenience but when it’s only a short-term thing, I feel that the advantages outweigh the inconvenience. People will be happier, more engaged, and work gets done across two time zones! I also find I’m always more creative when I’m overseas in a different environment so let’s add extra creativity into the benefits list too. Picture: exploring St Katherine Docks and enjoying the long-awaited summer sun!
