We’ve had time to rest and reflect after the transformative experience of our New Visions workshop on Saturday. We built it to be actionable, we built it wanting to empower people to make change. But the clarity and confidence and new perspective that also came for so many was real. There were tears, laughter, and joy in that room. Because we spend so much of our lives working, it is an emotional thing (despite what LinkedIn and some bosses would have you believe). And we got emotional as we took steps to untangle our identity from what we do and instead focus on the hard work of imagining what work could look and feel like if it was infused with meaning and well-being. If we looked at our problems, turned to community, and envisioned something better for ourselves. It was pure, human magic ✨ We WILL do this again and we want you there. IF you’re ready to truly re-imagine what work can be and need help making the shift. The foundational belief of Re-Work is that work doesn’t have to suck. This workshop really showed what’s possible when you believe that and work together toward something different and better.
