The Australia-China Young Professionals Initiative (ACYPI) is the single largest young professional organisation in the Australia-China space. Through events and initiatives, we aim to promote people-to-people exchange and cultivate cross-cultural literacy among young professionals in Australia and China to help their decision-making as future leaders across sectors.   • 𝗔 𝗝𝗼𝗶𝗻𝘁 𝗦𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗼𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗕𝗼𝗻𝗱𝗶 𝗝𝘂𝗻𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗧𝗿𝗮𝗴𝗲𝗱𝘆 🕯 𝟭𝟱 𝗔𝗽𝗿𝗶𝗹 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟰 Like everyone in the Sydney communities and across the world, we are deeply saddened by the violence and the tragic loss of life that occurred at Bondi Junction on 13 April. Among the victims was a Chinese international student from the University of Sydney; a member of the international students community.   On behalf of our members within the community of university students and young professionals in the Australia-China space, Australia-China Youth Association and Australia-China Young Professionals Initiative would like to jointly extend our deepest sympathies and heartfelt condolences to the victims’ families, friends, and loved ones. We stand united in solidarity with all of you during this difficult time.    We also commend the exceptional bravery of first responders from the members of the public, the police and ambulance services who have responded with courage and resilience in this horrific situation.   For everyone suffering or in distress, please do reach out for companionship and support, no matter whether this be to your friends, family, and communities.
