Last Friday #ChinaEasternAirline Jiangsu company launched a direct flight from #Nanjing to #Melbourne and launch ceremony was held in Nanjing Lukou Airport that night. It is an important event for the 45th Anniversary of the sister-state relationship between Victoria and Jiangsu.  Brett Stevens Victorian Government Commissioner to Greater China, was honored to attend the event and deliver a speech along with Mr Xia Xinmin, Jiangsu Vice Governor；John Williams, CG for Australian Consulate Shanghai；Mr. Zhou Chengyi, Chairman of Eastern Airports and Mr. Wan Qingchao, Vice GM of China Eastern Airlines. Brett also shared a video message from the Hon. VGTI trade team co-hosted a spirits tasting event at #VicHouse with Victorian spirits brand Four Pillars Gin and #Hammersmith as part of the #DistilleryDoorProgram. This program supports Victoria's distillery industry with a series of 5 exclusive tasting events at Vic House. It showcases 10 Victorian spirits brands to buyers like importers, distributors, bars, hotels, and key food service partners. At the event event, we spotlighted on two locally-crafted Victorian spirit brands. Karan Tuli, the Asian representative of the Four Pillars, specially came to Shanghai to participate in the event. Master mixologist Shane Xie gave an overview of the Victorian distilling industry and created five cocktails to show how to use Victorian spirits. The Victorian Government promotes the export of locally crafted spirits. Victorian spirits are high quality and have flavor profiles that Chinese spirits connoisseurs will like. Study Melbourne team just concluded a series of recruitment visits to #VCE schools in Langfang, Suzhou, Shanghai and Wenzhou. Education team including #QianLi and Gabriel Sun visited those schools and provided support to Victorian institutions such as 澳大利亚蒙纳士大学, 澳大利亚迪肯大学, 澳大利亚斯威本科技大学, 澳大利亚拉筹伯大学 and 澳大利亚皇家墨尔本理工大学 University.
