Room smelled of mildew—-they put an air wick in an outlet to try and hide the smell. Toilet paper holder falling out of wall, mildew caulk in bathroom, sink stopper missing, a/c in fitness room broke, this hotel doesn’t hold any standards to what the comfort inn brand usually brings. Don’t stay here for any price. End of story.

Very quiet hotel. Friendly staff. Good breakfast: waffles, cereal, yogurt, eggs, etc.. Lots of parking. Close to downtown and airport. Convenient. Pool. We stayed here at the beginning and the end of our trip.

We booked a room here as it was the least expensive in the area with availability. Easy to find on a main street in Scarborough. The hotel was clean, and rooms were comfortable having all the standard amenities. Beds were comfortable. The 2 drawbacks were a stale smoke smell, probably coming from the older carpet. There was an attempt to cover it up with sprays and plug ins, but it was not successful. The second was the breakfast selection. Small selection of bread and bagels, the standard waffle machine, 2 kinds of pre-made scrambled egg omelets (cheese and plain) and soggy hash brown disks. No bacon as the picture on the wall promised. Very disappointing. Coffee and juices were good though.
Front desk person stated the property was under new management so hopefully things will improve.

This is by far the worst hotel my family and I have ever stayed at. We travel often and have been to Old Orchard Beach/Saco/Scarborough area many times. This hotel smells, breakfast is terrible, rooms aren’t cleaned unless you request them to be, and there is construction everywhere. I would honestly save your money and go camping because your tent would be nicer. We went in knowing this area is older and we have stayed at other older hotels before as well as newer ones. This hotel is not worth the money and if you are coming from Canada, you might as well save your money.

Worst hotel I ever checked into, the review are accurate. I booked the hotel then read the reviews. Tried to cancel but they said they had 24 hr cancellation policy even though I just booked 20 mins earlier. Checked into hotel hoping it wouldn’t be that bad. It was just as described. Smokey room with overpowering deodorizer, mild everywhere. Just a mess of a place. Tried to cancel again but they were insistent on charging me for a room that I wouldn’t stay in. What a disgrace.
Do yourself a favor and just stay away. They may have got me a night that I didn’t stay but hopefully hundreds read this don’t book.
