The motel was dated and could do with a deep clean. When we checked the bed there was a long black hair in it and it didn’t belong to us.
It was a good price for the area, good location.
The WiFi was good.

We have stayed here before so we knew what to expect. This is the closest motel to the Key West ferry. Long black hair in sink. I have short grey hair. Price is fair. No extras. Mask required to check in.

Sucks, no wifi, can’t make any changes unless you call Booking.com to do so. Dirty room, not even a place to put clothes if you were staying for any length of time. Hard to understand the help and would rather not deal with a patron: plus side is a great local bar and grill with awesome hospitality, otherwise this is a definite bomb of a place

We checked into our room, saw it was infested with roaches, and did not stay. We knew when we booked that the Tahitian Inn is an older, no frills motel. We were not expecting fancy. But it has roaches. We walked into our room, #118, and immediately saw 4 roaches, crawling on the wall and floor. The room appeared clean, and we would have appreciated the room, location and reasonable price. But there were roaches! A total deal breaker for me. We were planning to stay 5 nights, over the new year's holiday. Cost was $551. My husband went to the owner immediately to say we couldn't stay due to the roaches and requested a refund. The owner would only refund $441. So he has $110 for us walking into and out of a roach infested room.

We stayed here before our cruise. The hotel has a nice outdoor pool area. Some parts of the hotel are dated. For a fee, the hotel offered a park and ride service to the cruiseport. Nice people. Our car was safe in a lighted lot on the property.
Room tip: The main building has a elevator.

I’m putting five star because for a budget hotel, this IS the best!
I have stayed here many times. It’s very close to the bridge into FM Beach, but not crazy pricing like down there. It’s spotlessly clean, the bed is comfy, they offer toiletries and nice towels, and the tv is big.
The fridge, microwave & coffee set up is handy. The separate sink is nice to keep food stuff away from the bathroom.
Parking is ample, and as another reviewer mentioned there’s a great place to eat walking distance away.
The family that runs it is very nice, too.
Highly recommend. Enjoy!
