The room was incredibly clean and beachy feeling. We faced the pool, balcony was well maintained, and the bed was super comfortable. Parking wasn’t difficult and the whole staff was friendly and incredible. We gave five stars for all including price which was spot on perfect.
My son and I as well as my friend and her son just stayed in a junior suite December 22 - 24, 2021 and it was amazing!! The room was huge, clean and had a really nice balcony too! It is within close walking distance to nearly everything and the on-site Tiki Bar and Restaurant are very highly rated for great food! The staff is very friendly and helpful! Would definitely stay here again!
The rooms had a bad odor to them. Had to leave the door open all day & night in order not to gag from it. Mildew in bathroom & closet. Vents had dust caked on them. Couch had a slip cover that was so stained you didn't want to sit in it. Sheets on bed were dingy.The chair cushions to the table were stained.
The noise outside the hotel from construction was awful. You couldn't even sit outside on patio or by pool in peace because of it. You could hear people partying all night. The loudness from the bar you could hear from our room. At 7am they started Jack hammering the road outside our door building. The sewer smell was horrifying outside wherever you went. The last night a lady was screaming at 1in the morning for help next door. Cobs & security knocked on our door.
So we stayed on the weekend of boat races. The tiki bar is great! The bungalow was literally across the street from the hotel and seems it was recently updated. It was nice, but not finished in a great manner. We did not have a phone in the place, which was a concern and weird. We didn’t have any issues though. We would stay again.
We stayed in the Bungalow for our anniversary and it was great! The Bungalow is beautiful, updated, comfortable, and even has its own driveway. It's on the canal and has a great deck viewing the canal. This place is in a great location within walking distance of a lot of great places. Would definitely recommend and we'll be staying here again!
