I had a marvellous 9 nights stay at Club Fiji Resort. The staff were extremely obliging and caring. The service was excellent. I have been to Club Fiji on numerous times and I have never been able to fault them or the resort. An ideal place for a relaxing vacation. I will most definitely be returning.

We stayed 6 nights in the Club Fiji Resort. Overall it was a nice quiet hotel, the room was nice with the AC, kettle and mini fridge coming in handy. The sheets did have a funny smell but we assumed it was due to the heavy rains happening at the time which left a damp smell on most fabrics. The pillows do need to be renewed however. Room service came to tidy the room everyday! the rooms were pretty clean except for the odd mess we would make.
The pool which was operating was lovely to swim in and clean, the other one was empty due to the limited amount of visitors which meant they only needed to have one pool operating. The empty pool attracted a lot of frogs (with the rain) which was very entertaining! it was fun getting to see some wildlife. The 3 stray dogs and the little cat were also very friendly and didn't bother us at all.
The beach was pretty dirty and had some rubbish on it but the dirty sea water was due to the heavy rains bringing dirt and mud down from the mountains, the water was like that every place we went, it's just due to the current weather.
Finally, the staff were really great, they were always at our service and super friendly! Louisa made us delicious meals (however, some items were a bit pricey compared to other restaurants) and Brian would kindly drive us and pick us up from our outings for a reasonable price.

After not traveling for 2 years, we were so excited to finally make a trip to Fiji, and Club Fiji had everything going for it - on PAPER.
The reality however, was far from true. This place in short, is rubbish. Here are some the reasons why:
a. No CovidSafe plan - nobody was wearing a mask, no temperature taken, no testing plan in place.
b. The rooms are in a sad state of disrepair - dusty, dirty, and not set up for arrival
c. Staff was rude and lied a lot
d. Zero amenities - not as advertised. You'll find guests walking around like zombies in the lobby because there's NOTHING to be done. We spoke to all the guests there, and NOBODY was happy.
e. Poor quality food.
We decided to leave after the first night as we couldn't bear the thought of staying miserable for a whole week. Pranish at the front desk promised a refund, but all attempts at communicating have been ignored, so they're LIARS on top of irresponsible.
So really, AVOID AT ALL COSTS. DO NOT TRUST THE PHOTOS ON THE PLATFORM, they're at least 6 years old.
I was very unfortunate in booking a stay at this resort. Not sure who provides the rating of hotels/resorts, but 3.5 star rating is a joke

photos uploaded on the website are totally misleading, the pool you see inthe photo is empty and all rusted up and the other pool available is all black with slime or algae on the walls, we did not had not even a dip of our feet
the so called "beach"is disgusting, the water black and dirty, not ocean water certainly, and the sand black and dirty, no way anyone could swim there.,
We were forgotten to be picked up from the airpoirt when we arrive, even though I had arranged the transfer
rooms are smelly and the shower curtains stink and they are dirty and all ripped
I took my mother to have a nice holiday and she had to be transferred 3 times in as much as 6 days, as the hot water wasnt working
to top it off, the rooms or bungalows, did not have a TV, I could go to any remote located, run down motel anywhere in Australia and find they have a tv in the room

This place definitely need some upgrades.
The was no pathway to the room. When we arrived, it was raining and because there is no pathway to the room, we had to walk through water puddles.
Also, the tiles in the bathroom were broken, no hot water, holes in pillows and blankets.
On positive side, the staff was very welcoming.
With some renovations, this place can be a nice place to stay.
