Hotel Silken St. Gervasi was very good hotel in calm neighbourhood. Staff was very helpfull and polite.
We was on Our anniversary and for sightseeing tour in Barcelona.
If You looking for good, calm hotel near buses and 200m from metro You should pick this hotel.

Hotel Silken St. Gervasi is a nice and very good hotel. It was suitable for us because we have family nearby. Their are Supermarkets and Cafe shops near the hotel, Bus stops and also the Metro is not far. Recommended!

Our room had a bad odor. The walls were very thin and all night we heard either gushing water or dripping water from the plumbing. The worst came when we were double charged at checkout. We didn't notice until we got home and are still trying to correct their mistake. The front staff was not helpful and denied they made the double charge.

The rooms are a bit small and the windows do nothing to keep out the noise of the city, but the staff were wonderful and extremely knowledgeable. The staff made the visit one of the best hotel stays I have had in a long time.

We booked this hotel last minute after being let down by a different hotel. Can't fault the place at all, nice building, nice room, friendly staff and clean.
The location is a bit off the beaten track, however, this is not a bad thing. We walked to camp Nou, park guell, sagrada familia, la rambla and the beach all from the hotel and whilst some of these were 45+ minute walks it was easy to navigate and not too strenuous. There is metro stations near the hotel if you prefer but we were happy to walk.
There is a small supermarket right opposite the hotel and plenty restaurants etc. nearby.
Compared to other hotels of a similar standard it was good value for money and would definitely consider staying again if returning to Barcelona :-)
