Passable Property, Would Likely Stay Elsewhere in the Future

Pros:
-Very good breakfast selection
-Convenient location to a shopping mall and several shops

Cons:
-My family stayed in a Junior Suite, but the floor had a sizable stain on the carpet. We were exhausted after checking in so we just left it and walked around it, hoping that house keeping would address it the next day. Unfortunately, it was never cleaned, but since we only stayed in Barcelona a couple of nights, we just left the matter.
-Some of the door hinges were broken and the bathroom door would not close properly.
-The hotel lounge was only open during specific hours, and even then they had the same fried foods every day with no variety. So even if we wanted to grab snacks during the "off hours" this was off-limits to us. What's the point of having a lounge, especially if one cannot make it during these hours?
-If you're in Barcelona for sightseeing, then be prepared to take transit a decent ways to the main attractions. It's walkable in the same sense that one can walk from Midtown Manhattan to Lower Manhattan, but it will take some time.

Overall, this is a passable property, but it is definitely showing its age as the rooms are quite dated and felt a bit musty. If I find myself in Barcelona in the future, I'll likely look to stay elsewhere.

The Hilton Barcelona is situated in a fantastic location, close to many shops, restaurants and Barcelona Sants. The parking fee of 35€ per day is a little steep, but there are cheaper (or free) street parking options, especially advantageous for electric car owners like myself. At check-in, we were pleasantly surprised with an upgrade to a junior suite, courtesy of our Hilton Diamond status—a gesture we truly appreciated. However, our primary reason for selecting this hotel was the club lounge, which unfortunately fell short of expectations. In comparison to the Hilton Diagonal's lounge, the service and offerings were lacking. The room lacked certain amenities, but the blankets and pillows were comfortable, albeit the mattress was a bit firm for my liking. Overall, it's a decent hotel that I would recommend and consider staying at again. However, I believe there's room for improvement, particularly with the club lounge's food selection and accessibility outside of happy hour; during our stay, even grabbing a bottle of water was challenging as everything was locked up except during happy hour.

I had an outstanding experience at the Hilton Barcelona. My two-night stay was very comfortable; the rooms were clean, and the amenities I could use were available. The staff is highly professional and helpful at all times. It was a pleasure interacting with them. The hotel has everything I could imagine I could need: a restaurant, room service, and two great shopping centers within walking distance. Not to mention, there are plenty of restaurant choices nearby. The easiness of grabbing a taxi outside the hotel was very useful as well.

Don’t be fooled. It’s part of the Hilton chain but it’s a 3 star at most. Staff was aloof. Was a bit dissatisfied with the suite I booked, at a hefty rate, but the bath wasn’t running and there was no shower. But no one seemed to care. I was very happy to check out early.

We stayed 5 nights for points. Strangely they charged us 50 euro in taxes. When I asked how they calculated % tax on zero amount paid they had no answer. Overall, hotel staff quite unfriendly. We are just doing our jobs and don’t have to be nice vibe. Executive lounge had same food each of 5 evenings. Breakfast in lounge was very limited; good breakfast in restaurant though. Executive floor King Room was decent size. Water was replenished daily. Location is good, 7 min walk from metro station. There ate also several restaurants nearby hotel. Big fuss with late checkout. Finally agreed to 13:30. Wish Hilton had same checkout policies as Marriott. Makes me stay at Marriotts more often these days because of that.

Excellent stay. Loved both the breakfast and happy hours. The room was comfortable and quiet. The shower pressure was terrific. All amenities were top notch. The front desk staff was courteous and helpful. The location is convenient near the Maria Christina metro station and a myriad of Spanish and fast food options.

Room tip: Make sure to bring/buy an adapter if visiting from The States.
