The Mercure Nice Centre Notre Dame is THE hotel to stay in when in Nice. I had a fantastic time there - Staff were amazing very welcoming, very informative and accommodating with date changes and queries! The hotel decor is fabulous, vibrant and colourful! Its so central to everything, trams, restaurants, shopping!! The room is decorated with modern arty decor - so refreshing with very comfortable beds!! Mercure Hotel you are my go to hotel in Nice - Fantastic hotel, great staff, wonderful customer service - good people this is the perfect place to stay!!

We stayed as part of RWC package and really enjoyed it. Well located and within walking to the nearest tram. Room was clean and staff were very helpful. Breakfast was limited but tasty. Downside was the shower head was broken and it almost flooded the bathroom every time we used it.

We stayed at this Mercure as part of a rugby World Cup package. It’s the third Mercure hotel we’ve stayed in on our four week trip and compared to the others seems a bit tired. That said, it is ideally located for exploring the promenade and the old quarter with lots of bars, restaurants and shops surrounding it. If you’re traveling by car there’s an underground carpark adjacent with discounted parking for hotel guests.Our room was perfectly adequate- clean and with a good shower. Breakfast was a bit disappointing compared to other Mercure buffet offerings but again, adequate.
There is a pool on the roof and a bar offering wonderful views of the city. The bar staff were friendly. All in all, an okay place to stay but no wow factor.
