Hotel was nice, rooms were OK. Upon arrival there was sand on the floor in our room, but the next day was all cleaned up in the room. Cleanliness was up to par, beach was fantastic. You can walk for miles, food was touch and go. No real service around the pools or beach. Entertainment was great. Beach was great. Neon party was a blast.

Room Tip: Only two pools and a kiddy pool. First time I stuck to the beach and it was great.

Riu Jalisco

I can honestly say that my wife and I did not experience anything during our stay at the Jalisco that was negative. After the staff at the Jalisco found out we were on our honeymoon, they sent us a nice plate of chocolate covered strawberries and a bottle of sparkling wine. Every staff member we met were always friendly, cheerful and acknowledged us either with a smile, a wave or hola! All in all, we had a great time, and won’t hesitate going back, or recommending the Riu Jalisco to any body who asks us.

Relaxing

Was nice to get a nice cold beer when we were checking in at the reception only had one night when there were noisy people in the hallway at 3 o’clock not too bad ,after four days you kinda get used to eating at every restaurant but was good and overall good value.

Low key great stay

This was overall a great stay. Grounds were very nice, pool was nice, food was decent (buffet style) and rooms were good. My only frustration was booking a massage. I used the app and booked a beach massage for myself, son and his wife but when we went to check in they didn’t have our reservations and said they couldn’t get us in. If the app doesn’t work they should advertise using it.

Very good value for the money. Lots of food choices and not a single upcharge for anything. The kids pool needs to revise the hours, opens too late and closes too early, same with other pools. Grounds are pretty and peaceful. Overall a good trip.
