We recently returned from the Westwind 1. Our 7 day vacation get away was not only what we needed but the location, cleanliness, kind people, pool, food, happy hour.......just about everything that could go right did. The food was a great value and simply delicious. Love to travel, would go back again. Thanks to all that made our stay amazing!!

We shared a unit with friends. This is a somewhat dated development that is in close proximity to all the amenities you might need on a "chill" vacay. We enjoyed the pool ( although it could have been a little warmer) and the pool bar and grill. The complex is intimate in size and staff is both friendly and helpful. It is an easy walk to the new resort and casino and we found many exquisite restaurants, which we enjoyed very much. Bottom line, a very reasonable priced holiday with opportunities to enjoy some indulgences.
For starters-I travel all over the world and I’d like to think I’m very low maintenance. All I need is a room,a bed,a door & I’m pretty much happy. With that being said-I was absolutely disappointed with the Westwind Club.I stayed there for a week with close friends and was let down from the get go.Lauren the office manager was not very warm and we felt like we were infringing on her time. It was hilarious how they nickel & dime everything! From the WiFi (everyone in your group has to pay for it)to the towels to the kayaks and the limitations on when we could do this and that.
On the bright side-it was very quiet and Donnie who worked the bar/grill & the staff were great.
Honestly we will not stay here again. Good luck fellow travelers-you have been warned.
My husband and our 2 young kids stayed here in early December. If you are a person that likes to be entertained and enjoy the all inclusive types then this is not the place for you. If you are adventurous and looking for a touch down space then you will enjoy your stay. My advice is to plan your trip and places you would like to visit prior to arriving. The unit is a town house style with 1 bedroom on the main level and the 2nd bedroom on the 2nd level, loft style. There is only one bathroom up about 7 steps. The place is clean with needed amenities in the unit other than a dishwasher. Wi-Fi is available, but at a cost. There is also cable TV. The beach is small, but beautiful. There is also a small size swimming pool. The restaurant on site closes at around 6pm, the food is ok. Lots of other restaurants in the area. There is laundry on site, old but functional. The jitney is available and accessible at the main gate and for $1.50 you can get downtown Nassau and some of the other beaches such as love beach. Cable beach is a short walk away. If you like to run or walk, there is a sidewalk. The staff are friendly and helpful. I would stay here again.
The timeshare is nice it has a bar were they serve donny burgers and conch fritters this place is nice because every year we meet up with some friends and hang. The timeshare offers trip booking for diving, snoring, and night trips.
