We’ve had tapas & Spanish food for days while in Barcelona, today we were looking for other meat entrees aside from tapas. We came in to Suarna quiet hesitant as we were approached by this waiter, Asif. Turned out he was really a nice guy, and was very accommodating & funny. Great service from Asif & he made good recommendations as well. The food was really awesome especially the lamb, steak & Lobster rice soup, if you want to take a break from tapas & pinchos. I think this was the most complete meal we’ve had by far.

The Giant burger is well priced and some of the highest quality meat I have ever tasted. The cheese, sauces and the rest of the ingredients combine seamlessly to create a unique and wonderful tasting experience. The staff is very nice, very competent and ordered everything correctly (even dishes with slight alterations) and the prices are fairly accessible.

Our first time in Barcelona we randomly came across Suarna, our second time in the city we made sure to come back because years later we still remembered how good the experience was! Great sangria, tapas, and entrees. Wonderful place for lunch or dinner after spending time in the Monjuic area. Make sure to ask for Asif, great waiter who made us feel at home!

We made the mistake of deciding to walk from La Rambla to the Nou Camp one evening (long, non-descript walk) and stopped here en route. It felt a little like BHS cafe from the 80s. The whole experience was quite depressing. The family on the table next to us were all watching tv on their phones and the place had the vibe of somewhere nobody really cared for beimg at - more of a place to consume food as a function rather than enjoyment. Our food was consistent with the vibe. To be fair to it, the place didn't badge itself as the prime eatery, but it still has the potential to do so much better. We were glad to get out and start walking again

Not one single main dish. Went to another restaurant.

Very nice attentative staff, good "complex" menu, for 31.50 we got seafood paella, aspragus, salmon with vegetables, squid with vegetables, caramel cream and coffee and all was really good.highly recommend!

Asif, knows how to make people welcoming and happy! His humour is unique and his service is just special. Food was incredible good! But overall is nothing negative that I could say more than I highly recommend this restaurant and hope you have the experience to be served by Asif.

Not that far from pl. E. is quite nice small restaurant. Service is quite talkactive and helpful. No problem with English at all. Try theirs homemade crema catalana. Very interesting.

We are glad to know that you liked our famous crema catalana (typical dessert of Catalonia). ;)
As you say, the restaurant is less than 3 minutes from Plaza Espanya, so it's ideal to enjoy a break after a day of sightseeing in the city.
