Wandered into this place on a Friday night - got a table right away, but inside it was loud chaos! No room to sit outside. Got some tapas, which were quite good. The food is probably geared for tourists, but it was plentiful and reasonably priced. The server did her best and was friendly. In all, not a bad place to grab some dinner.

This restaurant is "in my opinion" outrageously good in every sense. The atmosphere, service, drinks and most of all..... food is worth every penny. The wagyu steak is the most mouthwatering tasting food I've had in years.
We both had an excellent evening, experience and superb food. Well worth a visit if you visit this beautiful city.

I was in Barcelona for a business trip for a week and I found Pura Brasa in Google Maps because it had great reviews, close to the hotel I was staying in. And I must admit it was a great experience. In the week that I was in Barcelona, I went for dinner 4 times. Everything they cook is grilled with charcoal and the menu is so amazing that it is hard to choose something. I had the wagyu steak, grilled chicken, entrecot steak and the last day I had some grilled pork ribs, ufff everything was amazing and quite cheap to be honest. The wine was great. And the desserts all home-made and delicious. The last day, the service was provided by Olga, who was by far the most friendly waitress, always smiling and attentive to anything I might need, she made the last night amazing and wanting to come back. Next time I'm in Barcelona, I'll definitely have to come back. Totally recommend it!

This restaurant was local to our hotel in Barcelona. We read the reviews and from the outside, the restaurant looked appealing. We ordered the wagyu burger, the waiter explained the different Spanish terms for how well we wanted the burgers cooked. We chose medium.
1. We cut open the burgers. They were very bloody inside, close to rare. They were sent back.
2. They arrived back on original buns. The patties had not been rested and dripped blood onto the buns. They were sent back.
3. At my insistence the buns were changed. But the original fries were re-delivered, stone cold. They were sent back.
Finally, we got an edible meal on the 4th attempt. The bill arrived, with no apology, no reduction in cost or a complimentary drink....nothing. As we left, I looked for anyone who looked to be management. Nowhere to be seen sadly.
How can such a highly rated restaurant, experienced waiter and trained chef get this so wrong? I am back in Barcelona in a month but I won't be going to this place

Loved the atmosphere.. Diego was very friendly.. we ordered the tenderloin slices, fried calamari, mussels, and grilled asparagus, with the cava sangria. I've never tried sangria with champagne before, and it was really good. The food was grilled to perfection. Would definitely recommend to anyone who loves a good gastronomic grill :)

This place was a great spot to grab dinner with my family. We had the patatas bravas as an appetizer, delicious! For dinner we had the entrecôte, wagyu burger, and a Cesar salad, all were suberb and had a great charcoal grill flavor to it.
The service was also amazing. Our server, Alfie was so on top of things. He knew when to bring out appetizers, drinks, and dinner in a timely manner by keeping a constant eye on the tables. Everything came out piping hot and fresh. Thank you, Alfie for the amazing service!
We would definitely visit again on our next visit to Barcelona!

We came here for Tapas before going to see Blink 182 at Palau Saint Jordi. It was nice, but nothing special. It felt like a chain restaurant that just churns out food. The staff weren’t very attentive towards us, we were tucked right away in the corner despite the restaurant being empty and we were just left. We weren’t asked if we wanted any more food and we finished our drinks and weren’t approached and asked if we wanted any more. The octopus with potato came with very lumpy mash.

We had the most spectacular evening celebrating New Years Eve 2024…
From the set up of the restaurant to the food that was provided everything was perfection. We ate & drank to our hearts content, we celebrated with great music & drink, ambiance & made friends with other patrons.
An exceptionally special thank you to Victor the manager, & our servers Elvis & Carlos!
Elvis was fun, always smiling, made us feel part of the family & took great care of us!
The team went beyond all our expectations..
Their attention to detail & the care they provided us foreigners was top level service. We recommend eating at this location..

After returning from a daylong trip it was grand to end up here for dinner. Conveniently centrally placed we had no problem getting a table.
Tasty choices are plentiful and choosing chicken curry and fish mains were delicious. With chilled local beer.
Dessert wasn’t overlooked, accompanied by coffee and cappuccino.
It was an enjoyable evening, enhanced by pleasant staff and great value.

We had an outstanding experience at this restaurant, largely thanks to our server Julio. He went above and beyond to make our meal enjoyable and ensure that we felt welcomed throughout our visit. From recommending dishes to checking up on us at just the right times, Julio truly made our meal unforgettable. We highly recommend this restaurant and Julio specifically for anyone looking for an exceptional dining experience.

Wanted to eat pasta frutti di mare, it was truly amazing. There is a variety of food options on the menu, from steak, burger, to pasta, paella or salads. There was a line at the entrance but it went really quickly, we were seated in 3 minutes. The food really delicious, we had 2 different types of seafood pasta. The staff was kind and charming as well, especially Jovanny ;) It's relatively cheap too, everything around 15 euros.

During our 3-day visit in Barcelona, we went to Pura Brasa Arenas twice, for lunch and dinner. All food was just delicious. Our favorites were the grilled artichokes hearts, the sirloin steak, and the whole corvina fillet with no fish bones that was big enough to share. Great service provided by Julio, we appreciate your work, thank you!

The menu is not huge, but the dishes are great. They look nice and the taste is fantastic. Would love some more grilled vegetable dishes. Staff is very welcoming and friendly. Prices seem very appropriate considering the quality of the servings.

The food was very good! We all enjoyed ours and had great reactions to the first bite of our food. We loved the sangria. All dishes were incredible and we would eat here again. The service was good, waiters are nice people. Nothing was bad. Would recommend this place to others!

The waiter Julio was possibly the best part about our experience here. He was in incredibly funny without being invasive, even with the language barrier. The food was good, desert was nice, we tried new liquors (pacharan & ratafia as recommended by Julio, both very good) and service was fast. Would recommend, ask for Julio (he totally did not ask me to write a review for him at all)
