We enjoyed a very nice lunch here during a day trip to Córdoba. About 500m away from the typical tourist spots don’t be put off by the location - the food is superb and typical Andalucían fare. I had the Oxtail which was superb and one of the beat I have had since moving to Spain 7 years ago. I had to wait a while for it but it was well worth it. The staff were really friendly and overall a cracking lunch cost us €30 for 3 adults with drinks which was great value

What a lovely friendly chap runs this cafe. My husband and I went here for breakfast a couple of times. Breakfast was lovely and it was nice to be greeted with a smile.

At Home in far away Cordoba!

This is a great place for drink and good food near the Cathedral/Mosque but away from insane crowds. At the end of a long day of walking and jostling, it was nice to find a cool, comfy place to sit, enjoy a beverage and some nosh before pushing off. And Juan and his staff were attentive and helpful and very friendly. It felt like our neighbourhood bar with Cordoban Food! Will go back and highly recommend! Indoor and outdoor seating.

Both Trip Advisor and their Facebook page link/website say they are open from 7/8am to 2am every day. When searching for a place to eat and “open now”, this looked good so we spent 10 minutes walking there only to be told they are not open until 1pm. (Which only would give us 15 min to eat before our tour.) We were now rushed to find another place to eat. Be advised their posted hours are incorrect and save yourself from being disappointed like we were.

Came here for a light Saturday lunch. Service was a bit rough (the waiter forgot to give us a new table cover until his manager noticed), I enjoyed a small beer, a medium salmorejo and egg and ham, and una ensalada rusa. It was a bit heavy on the mayo but alright.

Not really for breakfast

Took the Trip Advisor recommendation for breakfast at this small cafe. The chap running the cafe was welcoming but when we asked about food he said ‘toast’. There’s nothing wrong with toast but not sure it warrants a special TA mention as a place to go for breakfast. Good coffee though

Excellent food and ambience at a local Spanish bar cafe

Excellent cuisine with friendly staff who do speak English. The evening meal was excellent , a mixed salad and aubergine fritters were generous and delicious. The churrasco large pork grilled steak was huge and succulent; the best I have tasted in many years. The dining was supreb value for money. A local speciality was served free with coffee.Much impressed.

It is an excellent place, the service and food are incredibly good. The owners are extremely friendly and attentive, we visited them from Colombia. As soon as I return to Córdoba I will visit them again.

We went on a recommendation and ordered the currucucu tomato, SPECTACULAR, but that's it. We thought that after the tomato everything would go along the same lines, but total disappointment. We ordered mixed plates, what they had on the menu, and the other famous chorizo cristal, it was 2 fried eggs with fried legs (yes, not frozen) with chorizo, average. The other combination, the option instead of chorizo, I ordered chicken tears, being in Córdoba, I expected a chicken in a rich marinade, they were strips of frozen battered chicken and the inside was raw. The dessert was no better, my husband ordered a flan thinking it was homemade but totally industrial, the coffee was good. I was very sad that my expectations fell in this way. The treatment was very good, but the food....
