Perfectly located at a romantic square, this terrace is especially beautiful in the evening when the square and its historic buildings are warmly lit. And of course, it's in the evening when Córdona (in summar) awakes and the city bustles with life. Reservations are not accepted but after a little wait you'll always get a table.
You might find a small four-legged host by the door; lovely dog giving everyone a wagging welcome!
Unfortunately there were only two vegetarian (no vegan) options on the menu but both were delicious!

Had the potato salad, grilled peppers, smoked sardines, artichoke and tomatoes with garlic dressing. The dishes looked simple but tasted amazing nevertheless. We especially loved the peppers and tomatoes and had second servings :D

We stumbled on this bar whilst wandering in the Jewish quarter after a visit to the Mezquita. Located on a lovely quiet square, with indoor and outdoor seating and run by really nice guys. On a hot day we sat outside and had a slice of delicious tuna empanada, a salad of local tomatoes perfectly dressed with olive oil and dried oregano and some Iberian ham, washed down with a few beers. A lovely, peaceful refuelling stop during our day-trip to Cordoba.

We chanced upon this tapas bar for a quick bite before the flamenco show. Great find. A bit like hole in the wall. But cosy setting, small and intimate. The stand-out tapas were the sardines on toast and potato salad. Some good local red, off-dry and a little bold. Fantastic experience!

This small bar utilizes outdoor seating in the plaza as it has almost has no interior space. Run by two hard working women, it provides a good choice of wine and tapas. I got the Roman artichoke and Mazamorra. Both were very good. It is not far from the Mezquita, but hard to find. More casual than the nearby tourist places. Highly recommended.

Came across this excellent bar on our evening walk and had a really good vibe. It would be the sort of bar we would frequent if it was anywhere near our home. The service is instant and no waiting around. Prices well below those in the tourist areas. We enjoyed it so much, went back the following day for a beer and finished with an excellent tapas! Probably an another visit tonight!

Lovely courtyard. Helpful staff. Always busy. Delicious tapas. Unpretentious. This is the kind of place you stumble upon and feel you’ve found treasure. Great marinated sardines in toast. Super salmorejo.

This place were our absolute favourite.
The tapas are so delicious - the wine likewise. And you enjoy the whole in nice surroundings.
The taberna is very popular all day.

Loved this bar. We visited two consecutive evenings during our stay in Cordoba last week for wine and tapas. Lively but not too noisy. We had to wait a few minutes for an outside table.

Happened across this place down the street from our hotel. On a nice quiet plaza, and is popular with locals. Good snacks, great place for a beer day or night. There was a bit of confusion about what beers were available— a list would help— but this was no doubt our fault as we don’t speak Spanish!

We stopped here after visiting fabulous and stunning Mezquita cathedral. Great red wine and beer, lovely olives. They serve good cheese too. Professional and efficient staff. Lovely location, good for chilling out out and people watching.

Chanced across this bar wandering around the small streets of Cordoba. Early on it was full of tourists but later on it was all locals. Mainly a bar, but with tapas. You're sat outside in a quiet square. Lovely evening in Cordoba.

This is a great place for a beer and they have several nice red wines, even a nice albarino and the rosado was excellent in June heat. Marzamora (a small dish of almond/cream soup) was fantastic and I loved the sardines in vinegar. The place is best when not so overcrowded and I see it can get crowed after 9pm, but it is open all afternoon serving locals and tourists. It was close to my apartment and I was very grateful to have it nearby. The wait staff can get busy at night, but I found them all very friendly and tolerant of my limited Spanish vocabulary. Note there is a good bottled beer, Bandolera, NOT Bandolero!
