THE 10 CLOSEST Hotels to High Roller

Hotels near High Roller

Currently the second largest in the world, the 550-foot tall ferris wheel located at the LINQ lets you soar above Las Vegas for panoramic views of the city. Each revolution takes about 30 minutes and each cabin holds up to 40 people. The views are prettiest at night when the city is illuminated, and you can opt for a Happy Hour ticket that comes with an open bar in the cabin. Day tickets are cheaper if you are looking to save, and tickets are also included in several Las Vegas City Passes. – Tripadvisor

    a must do!
Amazing views in an a/c cabin. Takes about 30 minutes for full rotation. Many say to go in evening but going in the daytime we found to be less crowded and was able to walk around our pod/cabin with ease and get incredible pictures.

    Awsome!
It was an incredible experience to soar on the 550-foot-tall, spectacular ferris wheel at the LINQ. Las Vegas looked stunning from every angle, especially at night when the city lights up. Our group fit nicely in the roomy cabin, and having the opportunity to purchase a Happy Hour ticket with an open bar made the experience even more enjoyable. For anyone visiting Las Vegas, this is a must-do!

    Nice Attraction
Nice attraction for a good view of the area. It isn't as "scary" as one might think. It takes 30 min to make its cycle so one doesn't even feel it moving. The car is also stationary so it doesn't "swing" like the old ferris wheels. I would do it at night if possible.

    High Roller at Night
We decided to go late evening, it was quiet and we only shared the pod with one other couple. The views are night are great with everything lit up. They take your photo before you go on and try and get you to buy the photo package after, however the photo's are expensive especially after paying for the High Roller itself, and although it is a good experience it does go quickly and we felt the tickets should be lower priced.

    Great views and no line!
Loved the views! You get to see both the city and the surrounding mountains. We were also able to get great pics of the Sphere and the F1 race set up. We bought tickets ahead of time so we were able to walk right on. There wasn’t much of a line for buying tickets so if you want to wait to buy them, you should be fine. Don’t skip out on the pics before getting on! They were actually fun with a variety of backgrounds to choose from.

Jaw dropping sized Ferris wheel with stunning views of the Sphere and Airport side of town.
Spectacular wheel with great views of the Sphere and airport side of Vegas. You don’t get to see along the strip really but you do see some buildings nearby. Nice big gondola to fit a good group that can easily see out and take some good pictures. Probably best at night but still good during the day. Easy to access from monorail and nearby tourist street with many restaurants and shops. Another must see but I would pick the Strat Hotel viewing platform over this for the best views.

Fantastic Views and Worth the Splurge!
I had a fantastic experience and would gladly do it again. Admittedly, like many things in Vegas, it was a bit pricey, but the breathtaking views of the strip and mountains made it totally worth it. The added perk of being able to enjoy food and drinks (no glass bottles) was a definite plus. However, a small tip: if you go for general admission, bring a plastic bag for your trash disposal; there isn't a trash bin in sight. Overall, a memorable experience with just a minor consideration for costs.

    High above the strip
This was an awesome experience. We did the HappyHalf Hour, which has an open bar. The choices are very basic, but it’s a fun way to see the entire greater Las Vegas area from over 500 feet in the air. It moves so slow, there was no sense of motion sickness or fear of height. We made friends with the others who were in our cart. Highly recommend.

    Happy hour worth the price
I took my daughter to Vegas for her 21st birthday one of the places she wanted to go was the High roller in the bar cabin. It was fantastic! The bartender was awesome very friendly and knowledgeable. The view at night was so cool and something I hope to do again.

    Brilliant view!
Went on this during the day and didn't really have to queue. Reasonably priced and really enjoyable. As you go up to board you go through a bar area where you can buy a drink and take it with you. We waited about 10 minutes to board our pod. It wasn't over crowded and went slowly enough to enjoy the view. It was really interesting and there were facts and narrative being broadcast through a speaker whilst the pod was going round. It was fun being able to see all the hotels from above and what their pools were like, and then it was announced when you were at the top and highest point. The view over towards the mountains was breathtaking. This was well worth the price paid and we took lots of memorable photos. Enjoying a cocktail whilst going round was an added bonus!
