The Hilton Grand Vacations Club Elara Center Strip Las Vegas garners a mix of feedback. While many guests appreciate its prime Strip location and the comfortable, spacious rooms boasting impressive views, some have voiced concerns over cleanliness and maintenance, including noise disruptions from traffic and the hotel's air conditioning units. Service quality is reportedly inconsistent, with both commendable promptness and frustrating delays mentioned. The hotel's amenities are generally well-received, though the pool size and added service fees have detracted from its value for some visitors.

Hotel's Favourite
This was our second visit to the Elara and we weren't disappointed - well not by the hotel anyway...

So the good/amazing - our room was on the 56floor and the view was perfect day or night Vegas always gives you a fab view. The newly remodelled rooms are lovely, and to have a proper tub rather than the jacuzzi was an added bonus. Husband fell in love with the massage chair in the room too - thanks Elara he's now looking to get one for at home too!!

This was the first time we'd taken our 15yo to Vegas, and picked the Elara for two reasons, we'd been before and loved it and we knew it was a non-casino hotel, the one bed suite with the fold out bed was perfect for us, and still had oodles of space even when the sofa was being used as a bed.

We had housekeeping every day of our stay bar 4 July but that was to be expected and didn't bother us. The room was immaculate and having the washer tub/dryer is an added bonus - and for those who complain that it doesn't dry your clothes we had no problems and even if we did pop down to the 4floor and use the dryers beside the gym.

I've seen many reviews with people complaining that the hotel isn't on the strip and they have to walk for ages... don't be put off. 1. It's Vegas and everything is a walk and 2. it took us less than five minutes to get from our room, through the Miracle Mile and onto the strip. We've stayed in lots of other 'strip' hotels and it's taken longer to get from our room, through the casino and out on to the strip - please don't let that put you off staying here. Being connected to the Miracle Mile is a god send, especially in 43+ degree heat outside.

We managed to get a sunbed at the pool most days, but more often than not we weren't bothered about a bed and happy just to be in the pool and leave our towels on a chair/at the side of the pool.

The fitness centre is small but perfect for working off the food and drink, it was a tad hot on a couple of visits and would have benefitted from the AC being on a lower setting, a few of the treadmills don't have working screens either - use the ones to end of the row on the left hand side to avoid a non working screen.

We booked direct, which also provided the Starbucks vouchers which were a nice bonus too. Parking wasn't a problem either, just be aware that parking is no longer free and you need to pay $18 a night to park in the miracle mile - remember to say at the front desk that you are parking and you'll get a card to exit the garage without having to use the entry ticket each time.

If you're considering staying here, don't let the negative points put you off, you are in a brilliant mid-strip location, in a fab hotel, more so if you can get a remodelled room and won't be let down. Our only niggle was the billing side of things, yes it was a pain and yes it took us a bit of back and forth to resolve but it was resolved by Hilton and wasn't a big enough problem stop me giving five stars, we'd definitely go back (and will be back!)

The suite did not smell or look fresh upon arrival. The master bath mirror was dirty. In the middle of the pandemic, this made me slightly panic. So I started cleaning everything that we would touch. We are a breakfast shake family and I requested a blender, and an extra luggage rack and was responded to quickly. The trash was also picked up quickly daily, and when requested we got fresh towels promptly. We requested the suite be cleaned once, in the middle of the week. The cleaning lady left the suite smelling fresh and clean. The doorman at the elevator was always courteous and I noted offered face masks to those who "forgot" to wear one. The gym was clean, but the machines are facing the wall. The wires can be run under the machines. The staff were all generally polite and kind. The hotel is in the Miracle Mile Shops Plaza linked to Planet Hollywood. This is a prime location that allows you to eat, drink, gamble, enjoy a show and go to bed within minutes, while enjoying free parking. The parking lot floors are all dirty and sticky but that is the mall issue. Hopefully everyone can tackle that problem.

High quality of customer service and room. Our room was a top floor suite with a fantastic view of Las Vegas. The room had all the supplies we needed, a refrigerator with ice maker, coffee for the coffee pot, dish washer soap and laundry supplies.

We stayed on low floor (7th flood) our room faced the parking garage there was no cell service we were told by maintenance to go to the elevators to make outbound calls on cell phone. They would not move my daughter & I. They boast the best views on the strip, be sure you book/request high floor. We were given the wrong opening time for the pool and not told about a discount book until our 3rd day when I inquired about purchasing tickets. No housekeeping services due to covid, the text response for new towels & garbage pick-up was very quick. Pool was nice but you cannot bring your own beverages or food, forcing you to purchase from pool bar. (2 bloody maria = $36 with tip.) Also beds & cabana must be purchased not for guest use. You do get free in/out self-parking and location is adjacent to miracle mile mall super convenient.

We booked Elara since we have stayed there previously a junior suite, really nice. we booked standard king rooms this time they were clean well appointed, but nothing special for price a few bucks more at Trump tower got you upscale bath with large walk in shower, tv big jetted tub super bedding, just upscale over all. Hotel is central strip was a short walk to MGM the lobby exits right onto Miracle Mile shops and Planet Hollywood casino also Cosmo is across street which is very plush and huge sports book. I gave it four of five only because of price you can stay for a lot less if price is your concern and Trump or Cosmo are upscale. but over ITS VEGAS BABY...

We have stayed here three times while visiting Las Vegas, and we love it. We opt for the one bedroom. It is very spacious, and we’ve always had a good view from our room. There is a kitchen with a full sized fridge, which is great if you’re staying for 4-5 days. The first thing we do when we arrive is place a Prime Now order for snacks and water. You must be in your room when your food arrives because you will need to go downstairs and accept the food yourself, the hotel will not accept it for you.

The bedroom comes with a jacuzzi tub, but we’ve never used it. The bathroom is large, so we don’t have any trouble tripping over each other when we’re getting ready.

The living room has a large wraparound couch with a pull out bed, but my favorite feature is the electric window shade that doubles as a TV projector screen. It was perfect when we had friends (staying elsewhere) come by to watch a football game with us. There was plenty of space for everyone, and you could see the game from anywhere in the room.

My MIL has come to Vegas with us a couple times, and she books her room here as well. For her, it’s nice to have the amenities of home and the space to lounge around and relax when she doesn’t want to be out and about all day every day.

The location is perfect for us. You’re right on the strip, but not in a crowded casino when you go downstairs. It’s connected to the Miracle Mile shops, which also connects with Planet Hollywood casino.

Right now, the pool is open with limited hours (12-6, I think). They are only allowing ~200 people in the pool area, so there may be a line if you want to lounge by the pool for part of the day. It was way too crowded for my preference when we walked by on July 4th.

Covid Ready - I’d have to say overall I was happy with the cleanliness. I felt comfortable staying here knowing the rooms were clean and Covid ready. We had a 4 bedroom so had to wait for all rooms to be ready and cleaned. The workers were wearing mask along with the cleaning people. Hats off to them. I would give them a 5 out of 5 for cleanliness.

The check in process I’d have to rate a two. They seem not to have the rooms assigned until you are ready to check in and it seems at that point the cleaning starts. Be prepared to wait for your room. I had a 3 hour wait for my room.
Rating 2 out of 5.

There seems to be a shift of people that stay here at the hotel.

Families be aware if your going to buy here in Las Vegas at the Elara.

Everyday I was at the pool a fight broke out. I have stayed here for the past few years and never have I experienced these type of situations in or at the pool. Needless to say Elara needs to do a better job in diffusing and addressing these situations. I am a owner at Elara in Vegas and with this past stay not sure if it’s a family setting anymore at the pool. Not to mention the shooting that took place a few weeks ago. Rating a 3 out of 5

Electric charging station what a nightmare. After being there for 4 days we had to go pay to charge our car. Majority of the time there were cars parked in that spot that were NOT Electric cars. They should tow the cars that park there that are not being charged NOT ACCEPTABLE and Management at the Elara did nothing about it. Rating a 0 out of 5

Elara if your reading this part of your check in process should be to assign the cars to the rooms or have someone out there caring. We had to lose time to charge and pay for a fast charge to get home not acceptable.

The staff from the luggage area, check in desk, elevator attendee, to the extra help at the check in area walking around trying to speed up process were all pleasant wore a smile behind their mask. They would get a 5 out of 5.

Hilton vacation club and services are not supposed to be like this. I booked 4 nights coming here with family and kids for vacation. The first thing I noticed is that some rooms have stickers on the door stating the room has been sanitized. However, my room does not have that sticker. The first two nights are peaceful. We had great time enjoy the view from the 32 floor. The nightmare started on the third night. I was woken up by the loud music from next door (connecting room) at 3AM. Who knows how long they have been partying! The loud music and shouting continues till probably 5AM. Also, I smelled marijuana coming into our room. Omg. My kids are also in the room. This is ridiculous. The next morning I went to the lobby and expressed my concern. The manager just said they will investigate and would not let me change to another room. This is what Hilton treat their customers! In the afternoon, the next door again caused issues. Somehow they triggered fire alarm for the whole floor. Smoke coming out of their room. I then go down to the lobby again and asked for director. He told me again they will investigate. I keep complaining and eventually he agreed to change me to another room. I have stayed in 3 different Hilton vacation club in Vegas and also stayed in many Hilton vacation club in different cities. Elara is the worst of them all. Although Elara is fairly new and nice in hardware, the services from the staffs are at one star hotel level

Upon arrival we were greeted and got off to a good start. The room was not ready until almost 5. We were able to store bags at bell station and walk around. We had a two bedroom on the 38th floor. We were given access to one half until the other side was cleaned. When we were able to get to the main side of the room it was clean and very nice. We had an issue with water as one day there was no hot water at all for both sides. One of the days we had maintenance come to fix the shower as it would not mix water and it was cold or scalding. That was repaired and the technician was very capable and friendly. The sink in the main bath would not provide hot water on the left basin but the one on the right worked fine. The room in total was great. As we move to the main resort. The security at the elevator was friendly and remembered you as you passed. They were checking guests and restricting people from going upstairs without a room key. The elevators are fast and efficient. The pool area was very nice and quiet in the mornings. No complaints other than the pool could use a good cleaning around the top of the water line and a good vacuum. Also the pool was crowded on Sunday. The mask off policy when in the water just crowded people together in the pool. It would have been better if you could stay on your chair ten feet away without a mask then be without one two feet away in the pool. The parking was convenient. No hassle to do a tour as many have expressed, we were never asked although if I was asked I would have considered it. In summary I was glad we spent a week here. We would come back and will stay at a higher floor and three bedroom.

We traveled to Las Vegas for New Years with our family, including kids age 10 and 13. We stayed on the 8th floor and although a higher floor would have had a better view, we were still happy with our room. Our room included a small sink, mini refrigerator, microwave, coffeemaker, toaster, dishes and utensils. The bathroom included a jetted bathtub. We also had a pullout sofa. The floor to ceiling windows gave us an exceptional view of the New Year’s Eve fireworks without having to leave the hotel. The heated pool and hot tub was still open in December/January and we frequently used both. The location was perfect. Located Center Strip, most places we wanted to go were a short walk. When we couldn’t walk it was very easy to get an Uber/Lyft from Elara. There is a convenience store in the lobby as well as a Starbucks for quick snacks/drinks. Elara is attached to the Miracle Mile Shops and restaurants. We didn’t need to wait to get in any of the restaurants (even on New Year’s Eve). The stores closed early on New Year’s Eve and the mall was only open to guests of the hotels attached to the mall so it was easy to get dinner without a reservation that night. We took a lyft to Red Rock Canyon for hiking, which I would highly recommend. We saw a lot of shows, all within walking distance and loved walking through the hotels on the strip to check out the scenery.
