The LINQ Hotel + Experience, while boasting a prime location that's perfect for exploring the Strip, often leaves guests feeling frustrated with its value due to unexpected fees and pricey extras. The hotel's atmosphere tends to cater to a party crowd, which, alongside noisy air conditioners and thin walls, can disrupt rest. Service and cleanliness are common pain points, with reports of unhelpful staff and rooms that don't meet expectations. Amenities also fall short, with complaints of missing items and overcrowded areas.

I stayed here in the past week with a friend. I was initially hesitant to stay here due to the negative reviews on here but we still went and we found it to be ok. Nothing special.

Check in was a massive pain. Far too long queues and staff on the desk not very helpful, we tried the quick check in but this was no quicker and made us go to the main desk to check in anyway.
If you don't have a credit card, like myself, expect to pay the full resort fee upfront and have trouble using breakfast vouchers for the rest of the stay.

Our booking through Virgin Holidays included a $9 per person breakfast allowance. This wasn't given to us at check in initially. We had to go back later on and speak to someone else on the desk in order to get this.
Be warned, this voucher is only valid in one location which is fine if you have no allergies. My friend is a coeliac and they did not cater for this or inform us of any items she could have had. We had to ask an annoyed counter assistant to check numerous times with the kitchen, which she wasn't prepared to do. Very poor service.

The room was pretty large and adequate for our stay. It was clean and tidy on arrival and we had no issues in the room. The large window faced a wall so was pretty quiet considering we were practically in the heart of the strip.
The only slight issue we has was with the fridge, we put drinks in there and alot of them froze. Not a big deal.

The hotel is in a great location and most of the big names on the strip were within walking distance or a short Uber ride away.
There is alot of construction work going on outside the hotel, especially near the taxi area. We had a few issues with taxis / Ubers not being able to get to us.

We didn't do much in the casinos of the hotel but it looked as though there was a good selection of games to play.

There are alot of places to eat in the Linq. We tried the Hash House a Go Go, which was featured on Man Vs Food and we found it very enjoyable - good for breakfast.

All in all, i would probably stay here again as it is in such a great location and has decent facilities. It's just the resort fees and unknowledgeable staff that let it down.

We stayed 3 nights recently. I feel like the LINQ was great because you are right in the middle of the strip, small hotel/casino, but the room was great for the price. I really liked that they had no shampoo/conditioner/ body wash bottles. Less waist by just having wall dispensers for all three. The room had a safe and a mini fridge. The only thing I didn’t like about the hotel was that they charged us the full amount for a resort fee per day with the pool being closed and no one ever letting us know that it was closed, so I just brought my swimsuit in my suitcase for no reason. Within the room I didn’t like that the curtain in the room didn’t close all the way, I like my room pitch black when I sleep so that was my only complaint about the room. I did like that when checking in they give you the option of not receiving house keeping for the sheets, they give you a $10 credit for food. They let us know that we could still call house keeping if we needed towels or toilet paper.

I was really impressed with The LINQ. The casino was nice and updated, the games were super fun, the bars and restaurants were amazing, and the room price was very affordable for being in such a centralized location. However, I was on the 5th floor and had a really hard time getting an elevator to go there. The #5 button would never light up even when putting my room key on the censor, so it was embarrassing repeatedly going up and down. Another patron I was riding with had the same issue with #5. When on the 5th floor, the elevator would take 3-5 minutes to arrive. Something definitely seems off with these elevators.

Also, while the room was nice, I was disappointed that I said two people were staying there, and only two of each type of towel was provided for my two night stay. I opted out of room service, so it would have been nice to have had a couple more bath towels already in there. While I appreciate the Green movement, it was almost too minimal in there with just a narrow shelf instead of a typical TV stand. I also thought it was odd that none of the lamp fixtures or plugs had USB adapters. NONE. It's 2020, and people have multiple electronics they want to plug in without having to bring their own plugs. On a positive note, I really liked the shampoo and conditioner dispensers in the shower, but the sliding barn door did not provide adequate privacy for a bathroom.

I would stay at The LINQ again and recommend it to friends and family, but I do think the elevators need to be serviced.

I booked our room three months in advance, reserving a Deluxe room with a view of the High Roller. After checking in we went to our assigned room which was on the opposite side of the High Roller. The only view we had was of the roof below. We immediately called to the front desk and was told to come on down and get a new key for another room. Was assigned a room on a lower floor and could only see a partial view of the High Roller. Again, the best view we had was of the roof below. We had wanted to make this a very special night so paid over $250 for a Deluxe room. What we got was a tiny room with no amenities - not even a Coffee Pot!! The soap dispenser in the shower was even empty!! No soap or tiny bottles of shampoo/conditioner or body wash given. Room service was a joke - no more nice tray with food on real dishes, just a paper bag with the food in it wrapped like it was a take-out. And like another reviewer stated, every time we stepped off the elevator we were bombarded by salespeople wanting us to come to a time share presentation! With so many other choices on the LV Strip, this will be the LAST time we ever book a room at the Linq.

Room service was bad, food was cold and over cooked. One day when we left the room at 9:00am we took the sheets off the bed so they could be changes. When we arrived back at 7:00pm the room was not cleaned and the sheets were still on the floor. When we ask if we could have an extra hour at check out they wanted to charge us $20. When you have such poor service the last thing you should be doing is asking for more money...

We loved the location of the Linq! It was close to everything and we enjoyed the promenade. The value at the Linq is much better than some on the strip, the rooms were modern and well kept and there was a mini fridge (we learned the hardway most on the strip dont have mini fridges unless you pay extra0. The staff was friendly and helpful. We would definitely book again

Worst service ever. I did not like the fact that they force us to use machines to do self check-in and checkout. Then the power goes out at 12 midnight. Go to the front desk and they were not sure if it was scheduled or an accident (later they agreed upon the excuse that it was a scheduled outage and they failed to put a letter under each affected guest door). Front desk (Kevin) asked me what I wanted and if we were able to go through the night without electricity. I said that I had a medical device and required electricity. He then said that he will give us another room. After given another room, Kevin wanted us to pack up our room in the dark and move to the new room. I said that I will sleep in the new room and leave my belongings in the old room until the next morning when there was light or electricity in the room. Kevin was not pleased with this response and asked me to call him back later if that was what I will decide to do. Why was it so important for me to move out of the old room in the middle of the night? My wife and I moved to the new room and I called the front desk to confirm with Kevin that I was going to sleep in the new room and wait until the morning before I move my belongings from the old room to the new room. The lady at the front desk said that she will give Kevin the message and he will call back to confirm. After waiting a half hour I decided to go back to the front desk to look for Kevin and of course he wasn’t there. I waited another 15 minutes before he showed up and said that he got the message but was not told to call me back. After losing so many hours of sleep, I just told him what I was doing and he said fine. From the beginning of the incident to this point, the word sorry was never heard.
After checking out the following day, I complained again to the front desk person as she again forced me to use the machine to check out and said their standard response was that it was a scheduled power outage and they just forgot to inform their guests. She also said all they could do was refund one day of the resort fee.
In addition to this bad behavior, the hotel stations people at the elevators leaving the rooms and at the front entrance to try to get guests to attend one of their sales pitch in return for gifts. Imaging leaving your room and getting approached at least two times by these pushy sales persons every time you leave your room or return to your room.
Also in the beginning we were ask if we would like to forgo housekeeping services for a 10 dollar credit and we said no. Although we said no, we never received any house keeping services. Never again Linq!

Hotel was “ok” the glitz and glam of Vegas are pretty much gone these days, replaced by a corporate driven quest for money and nonstop greed. It seems you’re charged for everything these days without your consent and at unusually high amounts. This hotel is not worth the $41 + dollar amount attached to the “resort fees”. I wouldn’t jump into your cloudy pool if my life depended on it, I would never attach one of my personal devices to your public WiFi and if the pool is any indicator then I would never think about using your gym equipment lest I desire a good case of MRSA.
I can understand that things will get dirty with the number of people at your location at any given time but to leave spills in your elevators for multiple days at a time is a bit much.

The overall feel of this location in our semi post COVID existence is that they’re actively trying to keep it alive.

As for my wife and I, given that these seem to be the cases in most of the strip hotels will elect from now on to stay off strip.

Maybe someday these places that historically take in ginormous sums of money daily will recognize that the strip in general could use a fresh coat of paint and retraining in the fine art of hospitality.

After staying in Treasure island and experiencing excellent customer service both in the hotel and on the customer floor, this hotel did not measure up. We came here because I had a free 3 night offer, which wasn’t free since they charged me resort fees daily. When treasure island gives you free nights you don’t have to pay resort fees. The hotel room smelled clean when we entered. Strong smell of bleach, which was fine, but no soap shampoo or lotion in the room. They didn’t clean the room even though I specifically asked the maid, her supervisor and front desk that we needed the room clean, soap and towels changed. Everything was ignored. The Cuban housekeeper was so nice, I thought, we had a long conversation about Cuba and she even asked if I needed water when she was cleaning a room near mine. She said she was going to clean my room after lunch. That night we get back and nothing. Spent thousands on the casino 🎰 floor and was barely offered a drink. Asked the floor waitress for a drink and she said she had to serve the ones she had first, but never came back to me. Very disappointed. Will not be staying here again.

We stayed 3 nights with 2 comp nights. Checked in online and keys were ready We chose to pay for an upgraded room and it was well worth it to us. Also payed for early check in to be able to check in at 1130 in the morning, also worth it as we were able to unpack and continue or vacation without waiting for the afternoon rush of people at the front desk. Room was clean and we were greeted with a text message after check in by an assistant. We requested extra towels using the text assistant and they were delivered within 10 minutes. The hotel is in a good location for many foord and shopping choices.
