The hotel is on the beach, with a reasonable amount of street parking, adequate nearby shops and restaurants including a Carrefour, and about a 10 minute walk from the station. Our room was large, spacious and clean. It opened out onto the side, with a view of the beach as well as the town. Service was friendly. No complaints.

Stayed 2 nights based on location Rome in 25 minutes and 30 minutes to airport after cruise docking. Room was very basic but clean. Internet was down not working no one knew when it would be working, TV had no listing information for stations and no English stations. At morning checkout night manager on duty (spoke no english) demanded cash as their credit card machine was not working. We did not have enough Euro,s to pay and wanted to pay in usd which ended up in an argument that was resolved by calling one of the bosses who spoke English who told him to accept he usd.
Kind of a hassle if you do not speak Italian.

Very charming basic 3 star in sea town 30 min with train from Rome Trastevere! Room for 3 with balcony, sea panorama, marble floor, good breakfast and ok beds and bathroom. BUT very noisy beach bar across the street with heavy drum-bass disco two out of five nights, til 01!! Not good for the hotels reputation, and not good for guest that would like to sleep and have the sea view. The town has easy access to the Nevropolis -Cerveteri, nice expedition even on a hot day, as well as many open beaches in the town, compared to other sea villages

The hotel is situated right across from the beach. It has a beach anyone can access across the road, plus the hotel's own rent-a-chair beach. The latter is cramped and overpriced compared to others nearby. Nettuna, next door being the perfect example. The hotel has 24 hour reception but limited access to anything else outside of dining hours. The breakfast is fulsome. We had a room on the side street. While initially disappointed not to have a beach frontage room, we were pleased in the night because of all the noise from the street, both vehicular and groups of loud people. The rooms were clean and well maintained. Must say that the shower was the smallest I have come across in all my travels, but the pressure was great. A great place to base for Rome day trips by train but not a lot to do after the beach and market if you do not have a car.

Response from Hotel M, Direttore at Hotel Miramare

Tank you for your compliments about the position of our hotel, just in front of the Sea. Concerning the price rates of the beach service there is a special convention for the guest of hotel Miramare wich gives them the opportunity to have the best prices for sun beds, umbrellas and chairs in the near “Miramare Time Beach”. in no other beach of ladispoli anyone can have lower prices!

On recommendation we spent 11 nights in this nice hotel, close to the Mediterranean Sea,and also within easy reach from the Airport with a taxi.
The room was very nice with a sea view from a balcony. The breakfast was good enough to take you to lunch.
The staff was friendly, although not so fluent in English.
One stupid thing is the high cost for a towel and a sunbed, and on top the unfriendly staff on the beach, who without any welcoming words threw the chair on the sand. Pity.
And for the final evening we had planned to go out for "fine dining", when we were unable to open our safe. The manager in charge did not lift one finger to assist, and we had to cancel the dinner since we could not get to our money. Someone in the staff later managed to break into the safe, and we left the following morning.
I would still recommend this hotel.

We stayed here one night to get closer to Rome airport (the drive was about 30 min) and was a great alternative to staying at an airport hotel. This seaside hotel is located across the street from the beach, we had a lovely little oceanfront alcove balcony which was the best part of the room. I would recommend booking the balcony room. The room was clean however the TV was very small and the mattress very firm. The wall hair dryer was not powerful enough to dry my hair. The desk staff was friendly. Be aware that English is not spoken in this area of Italy however we felt welcomed. There did not appear to be any help for luggage. The black sand beach and many Italian beach clubs across the street were authentic and fun. The restaurant hotel was excellant! Also the hotel put the full charge of our stay thru my credit card 2 weeks prior to our stay. We did not find wifi info and communication was difficult so we did not pursue. I would return for a stay before flying out however I would not stay several days.

Just home from a 9 day stay at the Miramare. We were in one of the economy rooms at the back of the hotel, which have no air con or balcony but didn't find this a problem. There was a large fan above the bed which kept us nice and cool even when it was 35°c outside, and the fact we at the back of the hotel meant we had less noise from the bar opposite. The room was small but had ample power points and cupboard space, and there was always lots of hot water, for the shower. Only one downside was the room had space for a fridge but there wasn't one. It would have been nice to have cold drinks and fresh milk for a cuppa. The free wi-fi was good, and all the reception staff spoke some English and were very helpful. Breakfast was a bit basic but quite tasty. Can't really comment about the restaurant other than prices were similar to other establishments close by. Worth a good 4 stars out of 5.

We have just returned from a long weekend away at the Hotel Miramare, bronzed, refreshed and carrying a kilo or 2 extra (it's that spaghetti alle vongole!). Ladispoli is a lovely small town on the coast just north of Rome. The train station lies within walking distance of pretty much everything. The hotel is, and I know this is subjective, just charming. It's a family run place with friendly people all eager to please. Certainly enough staff speak English (not an issue for me).
The hotel offers discount beds and umbrellas for their concession on the beach. Beach bar was fun and I would heartily recommend having lunch there. You order from the hotel's menu (extensive, sensibly priced and delicious) and are served by smiley waiters in full kit while you are lounging around in swimming shorts and loud shirt of choice. An irresistible combination!
I think the place is most suitable for those wanting a 3 or 4 day break, either if you already live in Italy (as we do) and need to get out now and then or if you're on a long holiday in Italy and need a break from high end culture and erratic driving.
As has been mentioned before, go the extra mile and get the Superior room if possible (one of the 8 rooms you see on the photo). The views and noises of the sea makes the €15 or so extra per night worth it. Oh, and they were happy to bring breakfast up to the room.
All in all, highly recommended.

We wanted a restful location away from the city and close to the ocean. We had a problem with our first room on our first night which made for an uncomfortable evening. However, we were assisted by the front desk and then later had the help of hotel manager Daniel who upgraded our room, apologized for the disruption and placed us in one of their deluxe rooms overlooking the ocean. The room was amazing and we enjoyed listening to the ocean as we went to sleep.

This was a great place we found on the tyrrhenian sea in a wonderful little city called Ladispoli near Rome. The hotel was right near the beach and sea. Daniel the manager was very kind and made sure we had a wonderful room overlooking the sea. The cost was very reasonable and much cheaper than Rome yet it was just a short walk to the train station and very cheap to go to Rome in just a half hour. We had the best pizza in our life at a place called Ristorante Il Giardino right beside the train station. The food is really first class and not expensive.
The staff at the hotel was very helpful and the place was clean and cozy. We will be back.
