Kanali View Hotel stands out for its prime location with stunning views and easy beach access, a detail that many guests appreciate. While some visitors have expressed concerns over the rooms' size and privacy, the cleanliness and modernity of the accommodations are consistently praised. The hotel's staff is often lauded for their exceptional service, adding a personal touch to guests' stays. However, the value proposition is questioned by some travelers, who point out the high restaurant prices and less-than-satisfactory breakfast offerings.

Have stayed in Sidari many times but this is the first time we have stayed at the Kanali. Is honestly the best hotel for sea views. Just fantastic (see attached pics). The staff were lovely, checked our temp when we arrived. All wore masks. No regularcleaning service due to covid restrictions, but you were asked to put out your rubbish and used towels every morning for the maids to collect and replace. If you wanted your apartment cleaned then you had to request it and then stay out of your room for the day which seemed fair enough. Our 2 bed apartment was on the first floor with a sea view. It had a little very basic kitchenette which was all we needed and pretty standard for the self catering apartments in the area. Bathroom consisted of shower cubicle, sink and loo. Toilet rolls provided daily. The shower was very powerful and always warm. Only negative was the cupboards in bedrooms had a musty damp smell so i left them open as much as possible to air them out. We didnt use the hotel pool, preferring to use a larger nearby pool bar instead but it looked clean and wasn't overcrowded. The Aquarius restaurant served lovely food and the staff were friendly and attentive. I would definitely stay here again. The location is perfect and situated in the Canal d"amour area of Sidari which has many restaurants and bars but not as busy as the "strip"

Lovely week away in a great location. Arrival at the hotel was ok but the bus drops you off 200 yards from the entrance. Check in was fine with a temperature check on arrival and social distancing starting outside and then with only one person from each party allowed in. Hand sanitiser was available in reception area too. Maid service was suspended due to covid but whenever we wanted clean towels/bedding it was easily swapped by being left outside the room. Pool area was too crowded for us but the surrounding beaches were lovely and the sea was amazing! Wifi was non-existent - and this was the case in nearly every restaurant we visited. The exception was The Vine - really chilled atmosphere too. We enjoyed the food in LaStrata and a beer in the Escape Bar. Lots of the resort was closed, including many supermarket. Still a great holiday !

We have just got back from this hotel.

The staff are friendly and helpful.

We travelled with tui and when we arrived we were dropped off at the bottom of the street and not given directions to hotel.

Rooms were small and basic but clean and hygienic

You leave your sheets and towels on landing outside your door and they change them as they don’t come in your room.

I do think there should be something put in place to separate the balconies a bit better with the current situation.

The staff were really helpful.

We hardly saw the tui rep seems she only goes to the hotel once a week and you have to contact them either on the app or ring them.

I would definitely come back

We had a gorgeous view from our balcony

Our second stay here with our last being in 2013. We again had a 2 bedroom apartment with a lovely sea view. This time on the 1st floor. Apartments internally were the same as 2013 and do now need updating but this is being done next year when they are going bed and breakfast and all rooms will be for 2 people with no self catering facilities.

Over the 14 nights we were there we managed to get sun beds round the pool/on the grassed area twice. This is because on all other days they were all reserved by 8:30am. 75% remained vacant other than a towel on them until at least 10am. Management can see what is going on but do nothing about it. We just went elsewhere as the early morning silly sun bed rush is not a game we are willing to play. One morning I witnessed someone from my balcony put his towels down at 5:50am.

Another thing I found a little galling is that the restaurant/bar (Aquarius) that is part of the apartments offer a 10% discount for those who pay to park in the car park but offer zero discount for those who are staying at them. Given the Aquarius is the most expensive place to eat and drink in the Canal D Amour a discount for those who stay there would I think be a nice touch.

One last thing is noise from the rooms above (moving furniture/wardrobes opening) was on a few occasions really loud in early hours so I'd get a top floor room if possible.

Stayed for two weeks and could of stayed longer. Location brilliant easy access to Sidari, about a 15 minute walk through the streets or along the beach. Canal d'amour beautiful and the water very shallow and clear for snorkelling. Pool area quiet for our first week due to covid, but became busier as we entered august with people reserving sun beds which you get at every resort unfortunately, however, we never reserved sun beds and always managed to find a spot when we wanted to access the pool.

The room was basic but provided everything we needed with a lovely big balcony overlooking the sea. These apartments were a great value for money and set in a great location to explore corfu. We hired a car for various days and managed to discover different areas which weren't too far away; including: kassiopi, Roda, corfu town, porto timoni, paleo and Lagos beach.

Overall, travelling two adults and two children (aged 4 and 9) we plan on returning again and would have next year if it wasn't fully booked already via tui as we want to explore more of corfu and think it is a great base to do so.

P.s greek night at the canal d'amour beach bar was our favourite night and we would say defiantly worth the visit.

We went with TUI who were very organised. The apartments are basic but very clean with 2 large bedrooms leading on to a lovely large terrace overlooking the sea. Could not ask for a better view. The restaurant next door is really good and very clean and there is a very lovely girl called Megan working there who went out of her way to make our stay a fantastic one. All the staff are really nice. They even made us some pizzas after we arrived late on arrival and were no longer serving food. Everything has to close at 12 midnight which suited us and our terrace area was so nice to sit and listen to the sea. Bring very strong mosquito repellent and bite cream as the mosquitoes are evil!!!!!
All the surrounding restaurants are really good and the walk along the cliffs to the beach is beautiful. Fantastic areas to swim and jump off rocks. We had an excellent last minute deal so definitely a five star trip advisor well deserved for the location, staff, cleanliness. Remember Greek accommodation is basic but it was comfortable and clean and you can’t get a better view. Will definitely return

We came to this hotel after having had an awful experience at another place up the road. Nikos did everything he could to make our stay fantastic- including finding us a room at 11pm!

Our room overlooked the sea which meant every morning we woke up to a gorgeous sunrise.

The cleaners maintain fantastic standards with changing bedding daily and towels every other day. Moreover the hotel provides excellent toiletries (natural olive oil).

Our stay was during the coronavirus pandemic but the hotel and bar made sure everywhere was. Lean and safe- we witnessed menus being cleaned along side all other high frequency spots.

The staff are fantastic and the bar service round the pool is brilliant.

You are made to feel welcome and at home by the staff and other guests.

I cannot fault this hotel and cannot wait to return.

Stayed here for a week in July 2022, as soon as we arrived we were greeted by the most amazing views from the balcony! Stayed in a 2 bedroom which was great for the kids and us. The place is awaiting an upgrade and this is apparent in the bathroom and kitchen area. When we arrived there was a nasty niff coming from the fridge, possibly some internal part burnt out? Reported it to reception and this was promptly sorted.
Hired a pedalo one day from the lady on the beach in front. Loved it! Got us out to sea for 10euro and lovely breeze.
Ate in the Aquarius restaurant a few times and this was always good. The evening views from the canal D’amour which is just about 200 yards away we’re stunning. The area around the hotel could be described as in need of some investment. There’s an empty pool and bar next door which looks a bit sad and behind the hotel is a car park with the buildings immediately behind needing a coat of paint. The Olga Hotel directly behind looks a bit rough around the edges but hey, if you close your eyes on your walk home the view from the front of the building is amazing.
If you wish to walk into Sidari main strip it’s about a 15 minute walk. Lots of shops, bars, pharmacy etc there. Plenty of bars locally in Canal D’amour though.
Now for the latest news! The hotel is being upgraded before the 2023 season, the ground floor rooms are to have plunge pools and there will be one bedroom apartments only on floors 1 and 2. There will be new bathrooms, kitchen etc and new furniture. It will be solely operated by Jet 2. Had a quick look and the prices have trebled! Shame as families will be priced out of this place and it’s really difficult to find good 2 bedroomed accommodation as it is.
Good points-
View
Proximity to sea/ beach
Comfy beds
Big balconies
In middle of lots of bars
Room clean every day

Bad points
Dated decor
Nasty niff from fridge
Intermittent WiFi
No sign of TUI rep
Reception has limited opening times

I know Covid affects cleaning but apartments need a new overhaul. Bathroom was filthy and tired. There was an electrical pull switch in the shower. Drain in middle of floor overflowed and soaked the floor. Mattress and topper was covered in urine stains. Electric smoke alarm in kitchen had cut wires room 106 see photos

Have been coming to Canal-d-amour for about 15 years and eat regular at the Aquarius taverna as it has such a stunning outlook so this year we decided to stay therein there apartments. What a mistake, we had requested a ground floor apartment as i have a bad knee, only to find we had to keep the curtains closed for any privacy, just a bit of net curtain would have done as were no prudes. So the fortnight we were in the dark. The air con which cost €100 for 14 nights had no controls just on or off. The kettle looked as if it had come of a building site and the hair drier was held together with sticky tape. As if that wasn't enough in the bathroom there was a water leak from the room above which took 3 days to cure.
