Nice apartments in need of upgrade but this is being done next year.
Staff amazing location excellent.
Only downside is that by 8am all sunbeds are reserved with towels on even though half of these weren't being used for hours and hours
I was a bit apprehensive booking this hotel due to some negative reviews however we was not disrespectful!! The hotel is such an amazing place with great views. Pool area is great and was always kept clean. There is a great restaurant, serving lovely fresh food. and a great coffee in the morning. There is some steps by the restaurant which takes you to a lovely cove and is great if you enjoy a swim in the sea. Rooms a little basic but we hardly ever spend time in there so was not an issue for us. We have stayed in a lot worse for a 3*
The staff are absolutely amazing (especially Jimmy & Alban) but each and every one of the staff are wonderful:).
Being a frequent traveler to many places, i would say this was by far one of the best places with the best staff and views anyone needs whilst on holiday. We loved it that much we have have already booked for next year :)
This hotel is a 3* for reason, don’t expect anything more. Our 4 night stay here was average, for the price I can’t complain. However, some definite improvements need to be made.
Check-in was swift, quite a lot of stairs, no lifts. Bags were carried for us though which was very kind. All staff really polite and friendly, always try to do the upmost for you. Staff here are a credit to the hotel.
The rooms are extremely basic. I’d recommend to bring your own hairdryer as this one looks like it hasn’t been updated since the 80s! Room cleanliness OK but not fantastic. Beds extremely hard, to the point where I was in pain. Thankfully the hotel were really accommodating and did give me a mattress topper. Unfortunately did also have an ant infestation in the kitchen. Definitely wouldn’t catch me cooking in the room. We bought a few items of snack type food and the ants overran everything, they was even in our handbags. Not nice, especially when they are in or around food. However, the receptionist was extremely apologetic and as soon as we left we was made aware they’d dealt with the issue immediately. TV only had Greek channels and patio door very stiff to open. Best part about the room was view of the sea.
Pool area nice but freezing and views over the bay are lovely. Surrounding areas of the hotel a bit unkempt, seems to be lots of rubbish everywhere. As we came out of our room, it overlooked another apartment complex that was derelict but a very ugly view of a mouldy green pool. Definitely needs a bit of attention. Some rocky areas / paving very dangerous around the beach cliffs, wouldn’t like to bring young children.
Overall, we had a reasonable stay at Kanali but unfortunately would not return.
We came here in 2019 and had a great two weeks, so when we knew we could get away in September we knew this was the place to come back to. Yes the rooms are basic but they were very clean, we weren’t expecting the beds to be changed often, but they were changed every day and plenty of clean towels, the maid was really lovely, always smiling and working hard.
We love getting up and having an early swim in the Canal D’Amour then relaxing round the pool.
We missed George but Jimmy was very hard working and chatty, he should go a long way in the future with his work ethics.
Our only down side this time was the noise from the neighbours, they were up most of the night and banging and crashing around, we also found the beds in our room slightly too hard this year, think it’s luck of the draw if you get a soft one.
The weather was great, the food and drink was great and the company was great.
We just love kanali apartments..we came for the 1st time 2020 yes was lucky enough to get away.
We loved the views from our room so decided to book again for this August again fell in love with the views they are to die for saw every sunrise they are just beautiful.
Yes the rooms are a little dated but who when on holiday stay in the room..u sleep and get ready in it. The pool was closed 1st day we got there but was soon sorted out we just went to the neighbouring pool...the pool was cleaned everyday 1st thing in the morning 7am... I used to sit havin a cuppa watching the guy do it.
The Aircon is ok! Keeps the room cool like its ment to.
Our matteress was really comfy..but the boys was a little hard. Staff are just amazing can't do enough for u Kelly an spiros are just lovely jimmy he is just hilarious and his time keeping.
My boys loved him as he gave them big
scoops of ice cream. All in all perfect holiday and we have booked to return August 2022
