Cambria Hotel Fort Lauderdale Beach wins praise for its proximity to the beach and a welcoming atmosphere highlighted by beautiful decorations and comfortable suites. Many guests appreciate the friendly and attentive staff, as well as the cleanliness of the accommodations. However, the hotel's service has room for improvement, particularly in room cleaning and customer service training. While some travelers find the hotel's value to be reasonable, others are put off by extra fees. The amenities, including pools and fitness rooms, are well-liked, even though there are remarks about the pool's size and additional charges. Rooms are generally seen as spacious and cozy, yet some guests have raised issues regarding maintenance and cleanliness.

The team at CAMBRIA were so kind, so professional, so helpful.Cara, Cheryl, Dusty always cheerful and helpful. Food was good, workout room as well equipped.
Our suite overlooked the ocean and our deck was so comfortable to relax with cool fabric rocking chairs.
We would go back. Parking was expensive however the valets were so king and friendly!

I was here in March for an extended weekend. The rooms are nice, very sleek, with a Bluetooth mirror in the bathroom. I had a king room and it has a chaise lounge in it, which was very comfortable. The room had an overall clean lines aesthetic. This is a new hotel, opened six weeks prior to my visit, and you can definitely tell it is new.

The location is great and the hotel provides beach towels for the beach across the street. The access point to the beach is shared by the private residences, so it is not as crowded as the public access point further down. Definitely plan for a day at the beach if you visit. The intercoastal highway has a nearby access point and it was great to take a water taxi to go for lunch.

The lobby area was always clean. The bar was well appointed and the bartenders provided great intel on local spots. The common areas were always clean. There is a laundry area, which is a great convenience. There is a great rooftop lounge but it was not lit the entire time we were there. There were lights there, but they were never on.

My main minus was the slow internet speed. It was too slow. Another minus is the service staff (not the lobby staff). Not all of them are fluent in English and that proved difficult when they were sent to the room to clean it. That was a huge frustration for me. The nightly valet fee is egregious.

I was in need of a serious break from everything and since Miami has been super packed because everyone wants a break from reality since Covid has altered everything, I focused on Fort Lauderdale as my destination. The hotel I stayed in previously now had poor reviews so I searched for other options. With many other hotels requiring daily “resort fees” Cambria stood out as a new hotel with no hidden catches. I booked for five days and off I went with my daughter and her bestie! Everything was smooth from check in to checking out. Everything is modern! You have to use your key card to start the electricity in the room the mirror had Bluetooth to play music the shower has a rainwater head with a stone floor, we had a view of the water, the pool is crystal clear, the hot tub is dope with LED lights, rooftop was great (couldn’t use the firepits though) service was amazing Jeff and Jordan helped us throughout our stay. And we were legit 3 min away from the beach right across the street. For those that are still afraid because of Covid, I urge you to continue living and enjoy life, continue great hygiene habits, take care of your body but please don’t stop living life! I couldn’t have asked for a better experience.
Sincerely
Unique’ Angel Nelson

This is a beautiful hotel and is very new. It is close to the beach (about a block away) and is located off the main drag. We stayed in Fort Lauderdale for six nights (three nights here and three nights at another lovely hotel downtown) and were happy with the quality of our room and with the room service. The hotel lobby is sleek with a beautiful design and decor and had a wonderful aroma.

A few major things to note: though there are two restaurants in this hotel, one is not open until dinner and the other more high-end restaurant is closed on Sundays and Mondays. You will need to find restaurants in the other hotels in the area. There is a microwave in the lobby for use.

There is not much around this hotel so if you are looking for a place to experience more of Fort Lauderdale's night life and walk to other tourist attractions, this is not the place. I would recommend getting a hotel downtown or at one of the beachfront properties. You will need to request room service by 10 each morning for the following day as service is not automatic.

There are free laundry machines in the hotel, which is very nice and the staff is extremely friendly and helpful. Parking is exclusively valet, but is only $35/day which is a great price for the area. We were able to rent beach chairs for $10/each which was an added plus. Also, there is Bluetooth in the bathroom mirror!

This is definitely a great place to stay if you want to be removed from the noise and hustle and bustle of downtown (which is also very nice depending on what you like).

All in all, we highly enjoyed our stay!

We absolutely loved our stay at the Cambria. The rooms were very clean, with comfy beds. Definitely took advantage of the Bluetooth mirrors!! We had a double queen room, with intercostal view. Speaking of, intercostal view, special thanks to Jordan for the room upgrade for my birthday, at no charge. She also left champagne and flowers in the room for me, so sweet!! All staff were very friendly and helpful. We loved the rooftop. All it was missing was a bar and music, but overall it was very relaxing. We didn’t get a chance to enjoy the pool or jacuzzi, but maybe next time. The hotel has a bar, and I believe they only serve drinks from 9pm - 10pm, at least that’s what I understood. There’s not a restaurant in the hotel, and all restaurants around the hotel are not in good walking distance, so if you plan to stay here consider renting a car, UBER, etc. Parking is $35 for overnight stay!!

What a beautiful new hotel! Literally steps from the beach with a beautiful rooftop pool. We were here with our 2 children, so it was just what we needed. Rooms are beautiful with unserved lighting and a beautiful bathroom that has a mirror that connects to your phone for music. Washer and dryer at the end of the hall was a plus (2.50 each) we will definitely be back

My husband and I just stayed at the Cambria for a super last minute trip. I always read tons of reviews before booking a hotel, however we had stayed in other Cambria before so we knew the level of standard to expect. The hotel is beautiful and super clean! We were able to get an early check in to our room. They have plenty of space to spread out, my husband loves the Bluetooth mirrors. The pool deck with hot tub it’s very nicely done. I am horrible with names but the nightly bartender was awesome and remembered our drinks each night and gave us great advice of cool places to check out. If you want to rent beach chairs you can walk a couple minutes down the street to the sandbar grill and on the beach there they have 2 chars and an umbrella for $25 to rent. The restaurant is not open yet but they said they are just working out some kinks, which are to be expected in a brand new hotel. Overall we had a wonderful stay and met some awesome people!!!

1. The hotel is in an okay location but parking is 35 dollars per night (for which i am still waiting to receive a bill which the receptionist promised to have emailed yesterday, i receive emails in seconds from everyone besides this place)

2. Service - i understand you have to request room cleaning due to covid, despite all florida restrictions being lifted. However, i requested room to be cleaned twice , and nobody ever came to clean the room.

3. Garbage Disposal- since my room has not been cleaned my garbage has piled up, and began to smell, and since nobody came to clean my room it stayed there. After asking front desk what they would like me to do with garbage they told me to put it in bags and leave by door. Housekeeping is a great job however I am an HR Manager by trait, and was also on vacation and did not expect to be cleaning garbage.
They then left some garbage bags by door so i change them.

4. Besides all that we ran out towels and toiletries, as well. At which point I gave up.

5. I gave it an extra star because the hotel is new as oppose to Motel 8. However, very poorly managed, bad customer service, and not very clean. It will be run down very soon.

Not only will i not return, i will not recommend this property.

My stay at Cambria Hotel was a really nice experience. I enjoyed the swimming pool, the gym is full equipped and clean, not many people working out so I felt literally in a private gym. Breakfast was delicious and the Staff both at the restaurant and front desk were so friendly and helpful. Be prepared for a $150 deposit to be charged on your credit card when you arrive. I got it back 3 business days after checked out.
Location is convenient, beach is just across the street. It is a quiet area where you can walk, around 10min walk from the Cambria, there is a Shopping Center and nice restaurants.
Definitely I ll come back to Cambria Hotel for my next visit to FLL

We recently hosted 75 family members for a wedding on Fort Lauderdale Beach and the Cambria was one of our host hotels. Setting up the room block with Areles months in advance, was very seamless and we were excited that our guests would have a good experience. The wedding was this past weekend and our family raved about the Cambria! From the customer service to the rooms, pretty much everyone enjoyed their stay. There was a slight issue with some of the bills and the room block price, but Jordan at the front desk was very patient and helped us quickly resolve the issue. This is one of the newer hotels on the strip and literally only a 6 min walk to the beach. We were happy that we chose this as one of the hotels to host our family for such an important weekend!
