We stayed at this hotel on two separate days in June, and they happened to be in the separate buildings. The fist time we stayed at the main building, having a nice view of the boat dock. The windows need to be washed and cleaned, lots of bird poops on them. It was pretty window and chilly the first night we checked in but the room was hot, probably because the AC wasn’t on. Breakfast buffet was decent. The experience from our first night was decent enough that prompts us to book at this hotel a week later. Now this is a different story. We checked in on a Sunday and it was a mess. First they couldn’t find our reservation upon checkin, the guy who was assisting us was talking and mumbling to himself the whole time for like 20 mins. My partner eventually asked him what’s wrong and he said our room wasn’t ready - which is fine, so we went to grab lunch and returned in 30 mins. Then we were greeted by some senior staff upon return and told us our room is at the other building… they gave us the room and told us to head over to the checkin counter to the other building and get the keys… again, that’s fine… the building at the back mainly used to accommodate airline crews and it’s actually really quiet. The next day when we checked out, the front desk said they couldn’t find our booking as the room that got assigned to us was suppose to be vacant !! Apparently we were assigned to the wrong room … it took her sometimes to find our booking .. we were in a rush to catch our flight so we didn’t want to argue but they actually charged us more than what we were quoted originally …. And we thought that wasn’t right. So our experience for the second night wasn’t that decent.

The hotel is about 15 mins walk to the Mestre station, which si very convenient. Also, 20 mins bus ride to Marco Polo airport. The bus stops are 5 mins walk from the hotel if you don’t want to walk all the way to Mestre. One thing to watch out, the bathtub in all the rooms just have weird designs… it was so high seems like an accident waiting to happen. I would strong recommend ppl watch up and be careful when entering in and out the bathtub.

Parking is under the hotel (huge) os public, so you have to pay €12 per day. Bus stip is right infront and fske you to Venezia (about 15 min.)
Our room was huge (2 adults 1 child). Personal very nice. Hotel looks lind of "old fashion". Beds are comfortable. We have the feeling, that wasnt reall clean.
Breakfast cost €17. i got discount and was €12 per person. Be aware, they offer (first week september coffe (9nly pne machine) crossaints, 3 different kind of crreal and fruit juixe, because of covid, there is a couple of girls serving ypu, so if you are unlucky , like u was, to pick up a crossaint and a coffe take 5 min.

This hotel would appear to be a large business type of establishment. We didn’t realise we were so far out of Venice itself.
We had two nights here after a cruise.
The cruise was diverted to Trieste so after a two hour couch trip to Marco Polo airport and a €35 Taxi to hotel we eventually arrived.
The room was stiflingly hot and no air conditioning. I asked at reception and they told me they didn’t activate aircon until June ! They did agree to knock the heating off. Strangely the corridors and reception area are lovely and cool.
The trip to Venice is best done via bus at €1.5 each way. A taxi we asked wanted €40 one way. The bus service is reliable and best booked by a downloadable app.
The rooms are clean in the hotel and there is a typically expensive mini bar.
We didn’t breakfast or eat there preferring to wait until we reached Venice itself.
There seems to be spa facilities here but we didn’t use.
If you are visiting Venice for tourism pick somewhere in the city and use a water taxi to get there. It may cost a little more but it’s a lot less hassle and you’ll have to views and no no transportation issues getting there and back each day.

I would like to complain to Tatiana from the restaurant. She was very mean, rude, and very upset. It happened on March 31, 2024, around 11 AM, right after my checkout. I went to the breakfast restaurant and asked politely to get some water, one of the ladies who worked there ( dark hair and dark skin) let me get the water. But then Tatiana started yelling and screaming and asking me to get out of the room. I was very surprised and dismayed by her reaction, all I wanted was to get water from a dispenser. I started pouring the water into my bottle and she came to me again shouting and screaming and embarrassed me to the whole staff and asking me to leave. She even took the water jug from the water dispenser to stop me from getting water. I was shocked and felt unsafe, who is in their right mind and will do that to any person? It’s only water, which the hotel provides and is always available in the lobby, it so happened that particular time it was not available that’s why I went to the restaurant.

Sara the front desk was very aware of this incident and also I advised her to report and make the manager aware of what happened. Elena and the whole staff from the restaurant can attest to what exactly occurred. Please investigate this incident because Tatiana is not the person you want to be represented or associated with NH HotelGroups. Please do not tolerate this kind of behavior in your company. NH Hotel group's objective is to offer memorable experiences by exceeding expectations and making us special but I felt exactly the opposite and felt frightened and in danger.

I was terrified of her reaction especially when she came to me and took the water jug. And I don’t think I deserve to get humiliated and embarrassed for getting water.

We, as a family of 3, stayed for 3 nights in a room overlooking the marina. Arrived late at night, reception at check in was very slow. We were not asked to show proof of vaccination/ green cards. Following morning, as I did not have a facemask with me, I asked one at reception and at the breakfast room but they did not provide me with ONE facemask. Breakfast was continental but did not have a plenty of choices to my taste. Bedroom was spacious. Windows were too dirty with seagull poop. Bathroom was spacious but bathtub was not easily accessible as you need to jump high to get in and out the bathtub. Even though the room was booked for 3 people, we were provided with only 2 sets of bathrobe and slippers. Surrounding is a hospital and retail shops, definitely it is very expensive what it is being offered by Hotel.

A wonderful stay at this hotel for our city break.

Our room overlooked the boat harbour and was nice and cool, we had no problems with the air conditioning it was lovely to come back to a cool room after a long day

It is just a ten minute bus ride to Venice island and it was nice to come back to the calm of the hotel after a busy day of sightseeing.

We stayed in the second building and not the main building, this is just a few steps from the main hotel so not far or difficult to find at all.

The bed was comfortable and the room was clean, everything we needed for our three day trip.

I was a bit apprehensive about this hotel after reading some of the reviews here, so we went not expecting much but we were pleasantly surprised.

We had a beautiful time at Laguna Palace, we enjoyed our room view, our sleep, the beautiful glass construction, the marina as well as the breakfast, which did not include omelets so this is something I would add to the menu. The hotel is situated outside Venice, there is a bus stop outside the hotel as well as a bus stop really near the hotel, the taxi has a standard tariff of 23 euros, if I remember correctly, which is fair for this ride. We would definitely revisit the hotel, we did have a lovely time!

The hotel is quickly deteriorating. Decorative water features on the outside have not been working for at least 3 years. Outside wall tiles are broken , weeds are growing and metal beams are rusting. My company is continually housed in a section of the hotel that has not been maintained . One has to use a lobby toilet to “do business “ because many room toilets do not flush. The air in the rooms does not circulate because the HVAC system does not run: the staffs solution is a noisy portable fan. Windows can’t be opened because of mosquitoes; no fresh air . The rooms have black mold. Many of my colleagues developed respiratory issues due to the mold in the rooms . The refrigerators may or may not work .The televisions may or may not work. Many room safes are inoperable . Very few places to plug electrical cords into. There is no breakfast room… one has to walk to another part of the hotel across a lagoon with no cover from the weather elements! The decor is minimal; curtains are plastic “black out “ curtains. Obviously the hotel hasn’t been updated or maintained!

We arrived at the hotel front desk and was told the room was in the other building, not the "main reception area". We then went to the other building and was given the key to our room. The room was standard looking , the bed was missing pillows, there was no desk area furniture in the room, no amenities in the bathroom. I called from the room and no one answered so I had to go to the reception and request the missing items from the room. In other words, the room was not prepared for our stay unlike other NH hotels we've stayed in europe. The original request for this reservation was that it had a gym and the breakfast was included. Not what happened, we were told breakfast was 18/Euros/ pp and the gym was not located in the same bldg we were staying. Which meant we had to go outside of the bldg and walk to the other bldg to use gym. This hotel definitely does not represent the NH standard, we've stayed on numerous occasions in these hotels and never had this type of service.
Not happy with this hotel.

Modern, particularly for the structure, a huge glass roof and below ... a small lagoon with boat mooring, beautiful large and comfortable rooms. Very courteous staff, the only negative note was a non-Italian bartender who responded poorly to the request for a simple "Diger seltz" or a bit of semolice magnesia ... he was almost offended and replied that he was not obliged to know everything what is used in Italy ... but nobody asked him this.
