The staff at Ade's Dream were very friendly, efficient and accommodating. The facilities may seem a bit outdated, insect screen needed repair and the water pressure was very low at times. On the positive side, the location couldn't be better...right in the heart of the town. The room was fully a/c. with a small kitchenette. (needs a little upgrade, but not uncomfortable). The view of the ocean was priceless. There is a Supermarket below where you could grab a few bits for your convenience, especially if you stay in a self-catering room. Would definitely be staying there again!

If you are into something a bit more authentic than the resorts of Grenada, hop the ferry and head to Carriacou - sleepy but vibrant caribbean island... you can't miss Ade's Dream as you pull into the dock.

We stayed for 3 nights in a simple room (the cheaper of the two... I believe it was 37USD a night for 2 single beds) and were more than satisfied. Crisp clean sheets and a plan room with strong AIR CONDITIONING (thank god)... who needs more when you really should be out and about on the beach ?

I would absolutely recommend if on a budget or don't care much about a fancy room. Save your money and spend on many lovely little eateries or a boat trip to tobago cays!

Ade's dream has comfortable rooms with kitchens conveniently located near the ferry terminal and bus station. Our room had its own balcony, but we chose to eat breakfast on the large balcony overlooking the main street and beach. The staff is friendly, knowledgable, and helpful, but it would be helpful if they sharpened the kitchen knives and provided cutting boards. The bus station is directly behind the hotel so take the bus to Paradise Beach and hang out. Shop at the fish market just down the street. Take a children's book along to donate to the local library which was lacking in primary level kids' literature. .

My friends and I decided to have a weekend staycation in carriacou for the first time and chose to book Ades dream. Lets just say it was a nightmare. The first night we arrived by boat and extremely exhausted, upon arrival the reservations were messed up even though front desk called in earlier that day to confirm the booking. They even tried telling us he had to pay more because they were placing us in a different room (because of there mistake) The room was a hot mess to say the least, the furniture was outdated, the toilets malfunctioned. Two towels were provided for a part of 4 that was discolored and torn and quite frankly over used. We woke up everyday to loud music from out door and other guests that had long term rentals. If yu are visiting carriacou to have fun and explore plan ahead because se no one at front desk knew anything or anywhere to go for exploring, to get food or even a damn taxi. This was by far the worst vacation experience and will not reconnect this spot for anyone. NEVER AGAIN! P.s I’m only hinging it one star because as no stars was not an option

This was my worst experience ever in a guest house. Yea the staff is nice and friendly but the services available was piss poor. When I booked the I specifically asked for hot water shower as I sensitive tonsils. In the 2 nights I spent the hot water never worked. I got sick as I was forced to bathe in cold water. And when I complained instead of giving me another room which is what should of happened I was told I would have to pay extra for their failure to give proper services. The walls are super thin and you hear all the other guests who were very inconsiderate to the other guests. Once again I complained and was told I have to endure that and the cold water. The whole place needs upgrading. I saw mice and roaches too. I will never stay here or recommend to anyone. Check out Mermaid Guest house instead.

The hotel is located right in the center of town, visible from the pier the Osprey Line arrives on. The hotel's rooms are small but airconditioned, but very cheap (only 30-something USD per night). There is a shared kitchen, and nice balconies on either side of the building. There is housekeeping daily or almost daily. The service at the front desk was fairly reluctant and unhelpful, apart from a man (possibly the owner?) who was very nice. The wifi didn't work in our room properly, but was fine on the balcony.

The bus station is located behind the hotel, and will take you around the island quickly and easily. Anse La Roche & Paradise Beach are both nice to see. On weekend nights, be prepared for ridiculously loud reggae and dancehall music blasting from the bus station and surroundings.

There is a supermarket downstairs, and restaurants nearby.

I booked this hotel for 3 nights and only stayed for 2 due to poor management and terrible upkeep of the facilities. When I got there I was booked in a room for the first night and was informed on the second day that I had to move to another room because the one I was in was booked in advance by someone else which management somehow neglected to inform me. The room that I was transferred two obviously had major plumbing issues( every time we flushed the toilet there was a loud clanging noise) in addition the dresser drawers and closet door were broken but the deal breaker was waking up the next morning to find out that there was no electricity or water which management knew about in advance but failed to inform us. I wish I could give thus hotel zero stars. Please don't waste your time booking this hotel.

My wife and I stayed for nearly three weeks in one of their top-floor, self catering apartments and couldn't have been happier. Great value and although the place isn't new it's all kept spotlessly clean. A huge communal balcony looking out over the main street and sea with a private balcony with a side view of the town beach gave superb views. However it was the staff who made the place a pleasure to come back to every day, they couldn't have done more for us. Supermarket at ground level, buses coming and going just around the corner, beach just over the road: it really was a great place to stay. Thoroughly recommended for a holiday base.

We started this vacation at The Snake Pit run by a great guy Cobra. The accommodations however; were a bit too sparse. No air conditioning, no hot water and no working stove. We spent one nite here and moved on to Ade's Dream. A great place for exactly the same price of $60. a nite. This place is centrally located. It is cleaned daily-sheets changed and bath cleaned and restocked. Everyone is more than willing to guide you in your travels and seem truly concerned that you are enjoying your stay with them. I would go back and stay in the same room on the top floor with access to 2 balconies. Staying in town gives you the town experience and while we generally prefer privacy and quietness, we greatly enjoyed seeing this island for what it is...a rather poor place in a spectacular setting with people who wouldn't want to be anywhere else than right there in paradise. To them, they are not poor. God provides what they need. Not living with all the luxuries we do, they derive their beauty and joy from their surrounding not their possessions. Refreshing. This is not a fancy island. This is not an island of 5 star resorts and exceptional service and high class anything. Stay at a resort island for that. For real culture, real people, real beauty, and simple fun, come here. Go to Paradise beach and meet Rasta Joe at the Banana Bar and Merit Museum or Curtis and Leslie and of course their sweet bartender Dee at Off the Hook bar. They are the most wonderful people. Go to Sandy island. It is a must. Slow down and get into island time. You won't arrive too late for anything important and what is your rush anyway? You're on vacation!

Ok, Ade's is a nice enough spot and the staff are friendly. I went for one of the more expensive room as they were more spacious and had a balcony. However, it didnt realise the price would include a nightclub virtually in my room. The music made the room shake and went on till 3am.
We had a trip the following day and were wrecked but hey your on holiday! So in summary nice place but its a party at the weekend and Ade's is on the door step!

Yes, everyone can use the terrace at the top and any other terrace too. There's a nice one at the back as well. As for 207, it's definitely on the first floor. I prefer the second floor. 306 is at the front on the jetty side (away from the noisy car repair shop). I suspect 207 is at the front on the noisy car repair side.

"Air conditioning at no additional cost if you need it. We like room 306 at the front - but if you can't do stairs or have a lot of luggage you may want a room on the 2nd floor - there is no elevator if you are looking for one :)"

"Avoid north side rooms at all costs as they are so noisy and polluted from car repair shop which doubles as a late night bar that you often cannot sleep and cannot use the balcony. Also avoid the smaller rooms with shared kitchen as the latter is very dirty and inadequately kitted out."
