Arrived home from Ruth Lake Lodge today after a 2 night stay! If you’re looking for a place to relax and get away from the world this is it! The cabin was great. Very clean and we felt comfortable visiting during Covid times. The fire pit was the highlight of the trip. The cabin we were in had complete privacy and it was lovely sitting around the campfire with the loons in the background looking at the stars. They have a garden on site and you’re allowed to take some veggies for yourself. We enjoyed some beets, carrots, strawberries and peas. Nothing better than fresh from the garden veggies! We had the chance to take out one of the power boats. It was great to explore the lake! Was a blast! The water was warm in the lake and crystal clear. Our dogs were very happy and comfortable the entire trip as well. All in all an amazing vacation and we will be back!

Ruth Lake Lodge offers a beautiful setting among the lakes and hills of the Cariboo region. We loved the large, wooded, quiet estate with its private beach and dock. Our lake-view cottage was extremely clean. The kitchen was fully equipped for our cooking needs and we took advantage of the full size propane BBQ on the porch every night. And of course, the hosts were both personable and helpful. Clearly the other guests (an extended family with young kids at the lodge) were also having a great time.

Ruth Lake Lodge is a beautiful place and so peaceful. My husband and I stayed in the Pine Cabin for 3 nights recently. Cabin had all the basic amenities plus many wonderful extras including towels, hand soap, paper towels, pillows etc. Daryl and France were amazing hosts and very friendly. We received fresh veggies from their garden every day, so delicious. We had a fun time on the lake and the fishing was good. Last night at the resort we saw a mama deer and her young one right outside our cabin. Incredible. I highly recommend this resort. We will return.

Well what can we say, it is all good . Daryl and France are wonderful hosts . Twice they have launched our small boat and retrieved it. We have a small motorhome which fits nicely in their small rustic campground which more than fine with us. We are used to off the grid camping and prefer it. My wife had a spa session with France the last time we were there and she really enjoyed it. We were there before fire season and again after fire season both times were just what we needed. As for the fishing in Ruth Lake
, if you know how to Kokanee fish and have the right equipment ,like down riggers and a good fish finder you will limit out on Kokanee 2 lbs + , proper Kokanee bait and lures/dodgers are essential . We will be back there in 2022 for sure.

This was a perfect place for my parents, my son, my dog and I to spend quality time together. We were travelling to Forest Grove to visit my brother's final resting place and then onwards to Hendrix Lake, Bosk Lake and Crooked Lake to show my son how lucky I was to grow up in "God's Country". Our cabin was immaculate and well equipped, our hostess was above and beyond welcoming, the lake was warm and perfect for swimming! We could hear the loons day and night - memories are made of this.

We enjoyed a wonderful, peaceful 2 days at Ruth Lake Lodge in one of the small lakeside cabins. The cabins are fully equipped and exceptionally clean. We enjoyed our morning coffee and breakfast on the outdoor deck each morning, followed by a gorgeous SUP paddle each day. France and Daryl are wonderful hosts and made us feel very welcome during our stay. Highly recommend and hope to be back!!

A relative suggested we stay here and we were not disappointed. A lovely cabin close to the lake. It was clean, homely, well equipped, had free firewood, good kitchen, BBQ, outdoor fire pit. Lake was just a few meters away. Plenty of wildlife, birds squirrels, bear viewed across the lake. Owners friendly and while still n the process of setting the place up made every effort to to make our stay great.
Only complaint was there was not enough hot water. It ran out partway through the first shower and was slow to reheat.
