Nice clean small hotel, run by friendly people. Room was nice and clean, not too big (2nd floor) but sufficient. Very clean and well maintained. The staff was very friendly and the daily Happy hour was a hit. The breakfast was very good. We could use the bikes from the hotel for free, not top notch bikes, but more than enough to explore the boulevard and the city.

I only spent one night in this boutique hotel and found it very satisfactory. I stayed in a standard double room which was very clean and adequate. Good shower, toiletries, kettle, refrigerator, tea and coffee, and complimentary bottles of water. View from the room is bad and there is absolutely no reason to stand on the small balcony which overlooks the back of ugly buildings. The TV was fine and the wifi was excellent. Bed was very comfy.
Breakfast was good although not the usual Israeli breakfast. There are eggs to order, but the bread (delicious) and spreads are brought to the table. The only cereal available was granola. The self-service consisted of granola, yoghurt, fruit salad, croissants, juice, and great coffee.
Cake, coffee, tea, fresh and dried fruits, are available in the lobby 24/7. The lobby leads onto an outside terrace which is available for breakfast or just to sit and people watch throughout the day.
I'm an early riser and the very close proximity to the promenade was perfect. I took my cup of coffee and enjoyed watching other early birds jogging, surfing, and playing volley ball at 7am on the beach.
The proximity to most places is great. Less than a 10 minute walk to the Carmel Market and within easy walking distance to many bus routes.

Excellent 2 night stay.

The hotel is very small which is not a bad thing. We were placed on the 7th floor after a few issues at check-in (I ordered twin beds and had them confirmed, only to check-in and be told that we had a double bed for 2 married men (not to each other). After being initially meet with the usual Israeli lack of customer service, the issue was slowly fixed.

The rooms are very small but fine, we didn't plan on spending much time in them. The bathroom was good (apart from some dodgy tiling). The balcony is extremely small but its nice to be able to open a door and stick your head out.

The hotel is in a fantastic location in the centre of Tel Aviv and a 30 second walk to the beach. Its easy to get to everything, however absolutely nobody in Tel Aviv has heard of the hotel. Whenever we tried to get a taxi, we had to get out because they hadn't heard of it. I asked please at other hotels and they also had not heard of it. So we found a nearby landmark and asked for that when getting a taxi instead.

Ilan was excellent as were the team at breakfast. Breakfast was very impressive and the coffee machine was nice when coming back in after a days sightseeing. We had a breakfast box for the early start (which isn't anywhere near as good as the actual breakfast), however the staff did make this known to us.

Looking at other reviewers photos, it appears the hotel has a bar on the top floor. We would have used this if we were told about it.

We saw lots of other impressive hotels in Tel Aviv, so I probably wouldn't stay here again, however it was good for what we needed.

The positives are the location right at the beach and the helpful and friendly reception staff always happy to answer questions and provide a good service. We were greeted very warmly and offered complimentary water, biscuits and wine. We were also given towels for the beach and tea/coffee through the day. The negatives were the poor sound proofing, (there was a constant noise from some outside installation), the rooms not cleaned very well with hair and sand remaining on the floor, in the drawers and cupboards after housekeeping service was completed. Uncomfortable beds in the twin room and poor bathroom conditions in need of renovation. The rooms are small but that was not an issue. We did not go for the breakfast for all days as it was lacking in options for vegetarians. The one and only time I did try the breakfast it was average at best. Upon waking in the morning we were shocked and upset to find that there was a wormlike creature in the bathtub. (I have a photo and video from one morning) This happened twice in the space of a 6 night visit. For the price we had to pay we are not getting our moneys worth and I was disappointed with the overall experience at the Savoy sea side and so I would not recommend this hotel.

I love how convenient the location of this property is, it’s easy to go to the market, beach, stores, chemist, corner shops, shopping mall, get the bus, train or taxi. It was clean and tidy, Meor was very helpful and kind, he was the best host! The breakfast is healthy and fresh, rooms cleaned everyday and fresh towels and toiletries given, the bed is comfortable, wide and spacious. Overall, it’s a great property in a excellent location. I would definitely recommend!

We are veteran day trippers and overnighted to Tel Aviv, coming from Jerusalem. We have experienced several Tel Aviv hotels, from luxury chains to boutique. We were pleasantly surprised by our choice this trip, the Savoy. The hotel is modern/functional. The staff was friendly and helpful. The room (one if the smaller ones) was very clean and had everything we needed. The bed was comfortable. The bathroom modern and compact. And breakfast was excellent. Located just off the beach, the hotel is close to any number of busses going to every conceivable part of Tel Aviv. Don’t expect fancy. For a pampering experience with pool and spa, choose a large chain hotel on the beach and pay accordingly. We were perfectly happy at the Savoy, which served as a base for our exploits in The White City.

Really couldn’t fault this fantastic boutique hotel. The staff were friendly and helpful, room comfortable clean and nicely decorated, breakfast was awesome and the Happy Hour with 24 hour tea / Coffee and cakes was a brilliant touch. Located very centrally and a minutes walk away from the beach I would always recommend this hotel to anyone. Very fairly priced at an affordable rate.
Thank-you Savoy Seaside Hotel.

I stayed at this hotel before and after a group tour of Israel. The review is a little late, as I had forgotten to review 4 hotels during my trip in May 2022.

Check in was quick, with friendly and helpful staff member at the reception desk.

This is a boutique hotel with 55 rooms, located very close to the promenade and has a number of eating places close by. It is well maintained, clean and centrally located. I had the same room both times when I stayed there. This was a 'Studio with Sea View'. The room had a small balcony with a partial view of the sea.

The room was tastefully decorated. It had a kitchen sink, small fridge, microwave and kettle, which came in handy. It also had a small desk one can work from. One thing that was bit challenging was that you could not fully open one of the closet doors to keep your clothes.

Just off the reception area is the eating area, where breakfast is served. This section has a coffee machine along with complimentary, light refreshments throughout the day, including cookies and fruit.

If you had a question or needed assistance, you could send the staff a WhatsApp message and they responded within a reasonable time frame.

At one time, there was a problem with the light in the bathroom and it was fixed quickly.
There was also a mix up about charging of VAT. I noticed that upon returning home, and that was fixed. I got a refund for the over-payment.

All in all, a great place to stay.

To be honest from previous trips to Tel Aviv, my expectations were very low , but wow The Savoy seaside certainly exceeded them .

The main reason I am ranking The Savoy so high is due to its wonderful customer service, I will mention Raphael and Natalie who were always most helpful, friendly and gave first class service . I would add that there were 2 other members of the team, whose names I unfortunately didn’t get we equally amazing .

The rooms are small , but spotless and have everything you need , kettle , iron and L’Occitane toiletries. We didn’t have a particularly good view from the window and as others have said the balcony is more ornamental than functional but to be honest we weren’t in the room so made no difference. The aircon was good and on the 1 occasion it stopped working , it was fixed with a few minutes

An early evening free sparkling one and nibbles was very welcome

We were room only , but did have breakfast twice and this was excellent

The hotel is situated a couple of hundred meters from seafront, with convenience stores and restaurants close by .

On the last day as we had a late flight, the reception arranged for us to have us of a shower at their sister hotel around the corner, again everyone was so friendly and helpful.

Prices in Tel aviv are quite expensive so this is a gem of a hotel ….we would certainly have no hesitation in staying again

We had an amazing experience in this hotel. The staff is super helpful and kind. The hotel is modern and the room is super comfy and well decorated. There's free different kind of coffees, teas and biscuits in the reception, 24 hours. The breakfast was really good and about the location, just few meters from the beach/boardwalking. I really really recommend this hotel.

I would ask the hotel as well. It’s a block or two to the beach so I’m guessing the hotel doesn’t have anything to do with umbrellas and chairs. I believe they do have bikes to borrow though. Have fun!
